railwire internet provider run by Mani Enterprises in bangalore-560 037 chaging more for internet connection charges.On the railwire website monthly charge for 256 kbps connection is Rs.353/-, but the Mani Enterprises operator owner, charges Rs. 450/- for that. and on railwire website it is mentioned that there will not be any installation charges but these guys takes Rs. 500 to 1000/- installation charges. I sent mails to railwire team on this below is the mail content. No proper response received.
I am staying at below address and enquired about plan details. I get to know Tariff plans are very costly by adding maintenance charge.
Address : Ayyapa layout , Maratha Halli , Bangalore.
I know Railways vision is to provide best connectivity with minimal charges but which is not reaching to customer because of below reasons.
In our area the connection maintained by Franchisee. Yesterday operator came to my house and explained about below charges. When I asked what is the reason to charge more when compare to website price and below are the reasons.
As per the website it is shown like No installation , registrations and hidden charges. But operator of franchisee given below are the charges which are applicable to the plan and installation.
1. Installation charge : Rs. 750 – Rs.1000
2. Plan charges
a. 256 Kbps : Rs. 450 (Rail wire price : 353 including tax)
b. 512 Kbps : Rs. 750 ( Rail wire price : 684 including tax)
After negotiation he tried to accept Rs. 500 as a installation charge as connection point near to our house. He is not come down on Plan charges.
• Franchisee put it’s own infrastructure to main the line like 8 hours ups backup.
• Electricity and UPS charges need to bare by them.
• Rail wire is not providing any infrastructure or not paying a paisa to franchisee
So customer need to pay additional because of above reasons.But this not true and no service he is providing. Why all customer need to pay this much additional amount every month.
