[Resolved]  Maruti WagonR Lxi — Gear Shifting Problem

This is in reference to the Purchase of WagonR LXi model in January 2008, from Kothari Wheels, Pune.

I have been facing the problem of Gear shifting from day one, inspite of my repeated complaints, no one has taken the issue seriously, nor Maruti India or Kothari Wheels.

Everytime i complaint they tell me to send the car to the workshop for service.

Nothing has changed from day one of the purchase, even after coming from service. The gear issues still persists.

My 2nd service has been done, but still the gear issue is pending.

The situation came to such an extent that in the previous month, when i was trying to do a reverse gear shift. The gear got jammed in the reverse mode and could not move the car.

The car had to be towed down to the service station.

I have been given all sorts of excuses, such as.

1st time - the service incharge/technician says that because i am not sitting properly, so the gear is changed properly.

2nd time - You should always slows down the car and then shift the gear.

3rd time - Only after the car completes 10, 000 KMs, the gear would be tuned automatically and would become smooth.

Any intelligent and sane customer who has paid a hefty amount for the car could understand such silly and nonsense excuses.

I have been visting sites on the net and checking for all people who have purchased the car, they have this problem of gear shifting.

I have been talking to car experts on tv channel (wheelocity, automart india). they say maruti wagonR has an inherent issue with gears and its faulty design.

SO MARUTI HAS BEEN CHEATING CONSUMERS ON THE CAR AND EXTRACTING MONEY ON A SUBSTANDARD PRODUCT.
