[Resolved]  Maruti/Wagon R LXi — Was cheated on service & repair

Sub: Complaint regarding Servicing & Repair at Stan Auto Pvt. Ltd.

With due respect I want bring it to your notice that i gave in my car for servicing on the 7th of October, 2008. My chief complaint was:
1. Thud noise from the Front Passenger Side,
2. Rattling Noise from underneath the silencer.

I have put in the same complaints in the previous services as well but it stays fine for two or three days after service & the same thing starts again. Now im fed up with all this & wanted to bring it to your notice.
At the previous service as well, I had send back the car for re-checking & i was told telephonically that it was the catalytic converter noise & it will cost me Rs. 3500 - Rs. 4000 for the cleaning or the replacement will cost Rs. 8500/- approx. for which i refused because of some doubts. I got the vehicle checked at the private workshop & they told me the noise was from the silencer & it would only cost a few bucks to put it right. After this incident, i was never gonna go back to stan but then i had call from Mr. Sanjeev(recently transferred from Stan, Ferozpur Rd.) for the servicing & i told him the whole incident. He asked me to go in & personally see him & he will try to get things in place.
After a few days when i went to see him, he was transferred to the Gobindgarh Branch. I met the sevice workshop manager & explained the matter when he told me that only costs Rs. 150 - 200 for cleaning the cat converter. I gave in my car for servicin as a token of good faith. But the same thing happened again. After two or three days till today i have the same problem with the rattling noise & thud noise. I took in my car again to Stan after 4 days. They checked & called me back saying that it would cost me Rs. 1800/- for the replacement of the shocker.
I was really disappointed coz they already charged me for the repairs regarding the Thud Noise when it could have been diagnosed the first time. & i still have the rattling noise in the silencer.

Please advise me wat to do.
There are other things of concern as well.
When any of the customers get the service done at stan autos, the customer gets the rating letters from Maruti/Stan. When the letter is due, the Stan Employees call in & offers the customer free Tyre Allignment, etc. if the customer hands in the blank letter with his signatures. They actually sends in a person to pick the Scoring/Rating letter.
The same thing happened with me.
Now, im never goin to Stan Autos & would never recommend the same. I have two maruti Cars Wagon-r & Alto which i always blindly trusted the company workshop for repair & service but was disappointed with all this.
I cant believe how many other people go through the same & get disappointed.
Please do the needful to change this.

Maruti Wagon - R Lxi — Regarding Price..........

Respected Sir,



I had booked a wagon-R from Jamkash vechicaleds in the first week of jan 2010 with the booking amount of Rs 5000, and the price of car was Rs 345341 and i gave draft of remaining amount on 15th jan the vechile was not available at that time,than some one rang me from them and told me that the cost of vech. will go up and we will make your sale letter on 28th of jan.
i took delivery on 10th of feb 2010.agony is they charged me Rs 3770 more as the cost of vech. had gone up .
Sir, will yourself tell me was it my fault or theirs I hope you will answer
