Hmmmm, s'thng simlar happ;nd to me w/ Mashal. Bt all maid agencies are like this. Horror stories abound. My frnd got a maid frm a'thr agncy and she had Hepatitis B. Now, I get mdcl test done b4 I hire. All the best. Doubt you will get $$$ bck.

Mashal is a very good organization, you don't know about Mashal that's why you are saying like that. They are Working for Empowerment of Tribal women and child.

This is totally fake story, i know about Mashal from last 10 years they are an NGO and they are working for empowerment for Tribal and poor women they will never do this kind of work.They will not provide some particular area and some particular family for safety reason of these women. I was attend their many festivals and programmes and seminar which is organized by Mashal. The motto of the all programme to protect promote tribal art and culture. So i don't think they will do these kind of work. I appeal to everyone don't write this kind of comment against the Ngo who are really working for the needy person, due to any personal intention.

Can someone please clarify if this complaint is correct or wrong, having left with no alternative with the current agency I am finally deciding to go to Marshal - however after seeing these complaints I am no longer sure.

I m looking forward to hire a maid from Mashal. Can anyone tell me if the story is true. I have already lost some money else where.

I totally agree with the story posted here. We had taken a maid from Mashal about 8 months back and she ran away with another guy. I do not think they are involved in any welfare - they just get the girls for a monthly get-together at their place.

I have been in Delhi for more than 20 years now and I know of other agencies here who really make women self-sufficient. So whoever is talking about welfare from this agency or on this forum supporting Mashal is a LIAR.

Do not go with Mashal - they mint money from you. They are more expensive than every other agency in Delhi (in fact you will find only 1 or 2 agencies that are more expensive than Mashal).

I heard that Mashal NGO is a front for a employment agency and they are making money under the guise of a NGO.

They get away for their poor service and exploiting customers (especially people new to Delhi) by alleging "tribal abuse" and, in some cases, alleging other abuse. Latter happens if the customer belongs to protected minority.

The Delhi Govt. should look into malpractices of such agencies and do something about it. In any case, if my info is correct then there is going to be a sting expose on TV for such outfits shortly. I suppose the Delhi labor ministry etc will act then.

Mashal Social Welfare Society is the biggest fraud being played in the name of NGO. They charge hefty commission in the name of donation, expolit the girls working there and not let any one settle beyond 3 months in one place. They have charged me with one year's donation and have provided me service for only 3 months out of last 8 months.
They are big frauds and must be put behind bars.

Hi, All This is totally not understandable because she is biggest fraud of the world in our view. She totally plays with ‘not only innocent Trible girl but also with the Ngo’ who are working for their empowerment. she is running her so called legal farm from her house and more than 10 people is working there she is not only use the maid for her domestic help but also for serve her staff. In this way she is giving work load to the working candidate which was totally against of human being, if they are refuse to work then her all staff will given threaten to the candidate in the name of their legal farm, male member of her kitchen will try to sexually exploit the candidate after complain of them she will not take any action, she will not pay the salary of the candidate, and after two three month they was chase away the candidate with giving the threaten, within 8 month we will provide two girl one lady, two boy but nobody will able to continue there only because of their behavior. They are a big exploiter of the maid servant, these all are a small part of the story of her house. there after we are agree to refund their balance amount. We have all the proof and all that candidate is still working with the Mashal, if anybody have any query regarding this story or any other story which you seen in the net you can contact Mashal directly we are sitting here since 1999, our contact no. +91-[protected]. These all are the fake story from the big exploiter because due to the Mashal they are not able to exploit the domestic worker. One thing more as per money is concern we are taking some fees because we are not getting any grant from the other side, so how can we manage the Ngo which is running a “rehabilitation cum training center”. We the Mashal social welfare society appeal to all of net users don’t bother this kind of fraud story at all, if you have any query Mashal is always open for you.
