I bought a room cooler(McCoy captain 17 ltrs.) from croma center(add- Palm Spring Centre, ground floor, link road, malad, mumbai-400064, maharashtra.) on 20th may 2014(invoice no-SLF02A[protected], paid-rs.4890, time stamp-02:49pm, item code-182835 and delivery date and time-21st may 2014 and 12:00am(viz wrong as it was a late delivery in evening.))
the invoice created by Neelamkumari soni also states- "home delivery, demo not required, installation not required" that means you were sure about the product.
IT IS A DEFECTED PRODUCT, its pump and swing not working.
I launched a complaint next day of delivery i.e. 22nd may 2014(complaint no-SR[protected]) at your customer care no.at 12:49pm. 22nd, 23rd passed, I kept on calling several times and talked to various people including someone Imran whome I recognise as my call transferred to him 2nd time. On 22nd the person told me that CROMA reacts/solve the issue within 24hrs.(croma cheated), on 23rd I got a very short call from store in which they asked me not to put further water in the tank, (which already I was'nt doing, and hung the call without any further information and nothing happened) also means that store knew about the complaint, I again called to customer care no. they guaratee me in that call that I will receive a call from technician or store for sure with some solution(croma cheated again). Also on 24th morning when I asked about my complaint and no response regarding it I again got an assurance that my complaint is being treated on high priority basis from 23rd may 2014(but I was still with the defected product for which I paid three days back).
Now on 24th may 2014 by the grace of god croma malad center called me at 01:54pm(after almost 50 hrs. of complaint) and INFORMED that they at the store are registering my complaint today i.e 24th may 2014 and will do anything on 26th may 2014.
I asked for the manager and they replied for that I have to visit their store!!!
Meanwhile I checked my mail and found out the mail croma sent me after my purchase"Thankyou for visiting croma. At croma we take pride in FACT that once a croma customer, always a croma customer and by revisiting and making another purchase, you have reaffirmed this belief "
but surprisingly at this purchase I got cheated heavily from salesmen to store manager to customer care service. I still can't believe that the product I paid for on 20th, delivered on 21st and having complaint on 22nd will be entertained on 26th? It is a defected product which am having for all these days and this is how croma reacts? leave the saying of 24 hrs. for a while.
Why croma store malad registering my complaint on 24th may 2014 when I already did one on 22nd may 2014, customer care people kept telling me that they processed my complaints to store and what about the short call regarding not filling water was about? Is this the latest cheat we should Expect?
What happened to that complaint of 22nd may 2014 when the executives were keep telling me that our consulting team is consulting on a high priority basis? What was they consulting and whome? Nobody called me for that even after kept asking! I hope this is no FACT one should take pride in?
I only for any assistance comes, couldn't moove out of my house for three days and croma wants me to devote two more days, why? I don't have any other things to do or should I bear this because I bought a room cooler from croma?Is this the BEST part you always refer?
I wanted to buy a cooler for my mother's visit for a week and for the whole week I had a defected product payment done days before to TATA.! Even nobody cared to inform me the exact happening or day or time for technician's visit or exchange delivery.Is this the BEST I should Expect!!??
No one is telling what happened of my complaint launched on 22nd may 2014 regarding defective product delivery. Croma charged me in advance and now not showing face! hence I found out that I made a huge mistake by REvisiting and making a purchase with croma.
Last but not the least I congratulate TATA(croma) which bags its 6th consecutive most admired retailer award, in the consumer electronics category at the images retail awards by the Indian Retail Forum.
I expected the best from TATA and received the worst treatment in retail, any local vendor would have shown its face in 2 or 3 days time but because its the BEST, TATA's response is still on wait!!Now store will react(though I don't believe now) according to the complaint THEY registered on 24th may 2014 means customer have to follow instructions only, TATA croma works on its own will and give a damn to customer!!

Even i have faced the same problem i bought McCoy R/Cooler 45L Colonel air cooler on 30th may 2014 from Gurgaon-Sector 29-A120, Ground First & Basement of SCO No-3, Gurgaon - 122002.
but on 10 june its fan stopped working and i logged a complain on 14 june to the customer care @ that time they told that they will resolve it within 48 hrs. now its 30th july but no representative came for it. it's really frustrating i have called so many time they told that they will resolve it ASAP but no response.
IF ANY BODY HAVE ALREADY FILED A CASE IN CONSUMER COURT PLEASE LET US KNOW SO THAT V ALL CAN FILE A CASE AGAINST CROMA.
Even i would like to tell to the consumer court to ban the CROMA for selling this kind of defective products and should give a huge compensation to the customer.

Very product . i bought it on saturday. customer service also very worst. defected product . I have complained many times. They didn't response yet. We went directly to the shop for complaints. There also no response. Its working as a room heater. its not a cooler. water leakage is there even though less water in tank. swing is not working. They are telling its like fan. But i dont know what is the meant "Air cooler" .
It's totally a useless product. Today I mean 8 may 2017 we purchased the product from CROMA and literally they have cheated us by giving a defective product. It's totally working like a heater rather than cooler. Am totally disappointed.
Please suggest, What should I do with that. Now I am totally furstated and file a case in consumer court regarding that, If any solution not provided immediatlly.
