I have had similar experience with them as well. I bought a AC to DC converter for a DVD player and this worked only for 1 hour. When I took it back, he refused to accept it. Whats the point of paying 350Rs. for a converter without bill and then refusing to change? No warranty at all... He is a crook and I threw it there and left.

Today i had a very bad experience in mercy electronics vadapalani, i went to buy a 1 KVA APC offline Ups from them.The said price is Rs.4800/, i gave my credit card for payment, sales guy told me they will charge 2% as service charge.He suggested Instead of giving service charges, i can get cash from nearby citibank ATM.so i went and get cash with denomination of 4x1000, 1x500 and 5x100. So i paid the Rs 4800/ in cash.They gave small slip bill without any VAT.so i supposed to leave with UPS, she told me one note is fake out of four i given.I really surprised how the fake notes will be stored in ATM centers. She told in one note the fluorescent light is not passing so it is a fake one.Afterwards i told her to cancel my bill asked to return my money.she return my money back, so i had a doubt and asked her to check all the four 1000 rupee note.I found in two thousand notes the fluorescent is not passing.If they are genuine she has to inform she will accept if if only the the fluorescent test is passed and she has to do the test in front of customer.Also she is trying to give another note with same complaints.Now i understood she might have dropped one 1000 rupee note to their cash box and taken fake note from their cash box.I have note from ATm will not be a fake one.so i request everybody should be careful with this vendor, they are not geniune.

i also had same experience at annanagar, I bought portable DVD& Mp3 player for Rs.1500/- first they showed me one piece in that remote is not working. The second one seems to be ok there. After returned to home it run only for 15 min i father was listening FM after that its not working.
Next day morning i rushed to the store they used very dirty languge after big fight they taken for service.
Today evening they asked to collect the same, we will see. If it is not working i am gonna broke the player in front of the shop.

Thanks for warning. I was about to go there to buy an IC. Now I don't.
I bought Philips FM radio worth Rs 475 along with adaptor costing Rs75. I didn't have cell to check and I used the adaptor but radio not working. Next day I went and complained but they told me to go to Philips dealer for correcting the defect. After a hard struggle I convinced them that the problem is not in radio but in the adaptor. For proving that I bought 2 cells from them and mounted and radio was working. Then they changed the adaptor with new one.
plese dont buy anything in MERCY ELECTRONICS all are OUTDTAED PRODUCTS and they say as BRANDED PRODUCTS...
