Since the MRP is printed on the items like Drinking Bottled Water, Cold Drinks, Milk etc. the vendors around the area are taken Re.1 or Rs.2 extra from the MRP for reasons Refrigeration charges as the Electricity charges have gone up. You will agree all these years the Utilities dept has been increasing the electricity charges and this had never happened. Someone to make a quick buck has started with this illegal practice of increasing the MRP. The area is Dadar West, Ranade Road and also P.L. Kale Guruji Marg. A survey is required to be made by yourselves with a few vendors around the area ie Shree Swami Samarth, Sri Krupa Stores, Anapurna etc.
You must also take a look at the milk price which is being hiked thrice a year. The poor child which requires milk and our system does not allow the child to drink the first healthy food, what is our country heading for, is it going to be one of the Developing countries, or the economic graph is going down. We need you to check the milk prices too.
