Morgan Stanley Growth Fund (Growth Plan) — no refund on transfer of money from closed end to open ended

The morgan stanley growth fund (growth plan) converted from open ended scheme to close ended scheme around 25th december 2008. My account in stock holding corporation of india limited shows that the company took back the shares but I did not get any refund of money till 14th november 2009.
I got a letter from the company for exercising some kind of option but I did not send accepatance of any option.
