o2 — mis selling
O2 surprises. Not matter which of the "ducks" you choose, the "prize is always the same. It is not possible to "win"free texts.I believe it a ploy to give free phone time, knowing full well that most people will go over the limit and spend money.
I had 3 attempts at picking a prize, and no matter what I selected, the result was always the same.
If you try and contact O2, the there is a breakdown in the link and nothing happens.
It seems now my password will no longer be accepted.
I am using O2 Stealth phone, but right now O2 is not powering on & white screen has come when we try to power on the O2. Kindly Provide me the way how to Format the phone.-
o2 — inability to top up
On the fourteenth of July 2009 I purchased a o2 sims card. ( I was unhappy with the company that I was with). With the card I received a ten pound Top Up voucher. On turning on the mobile I was immediately connected to o2 net work. Great!
I then topped up online on the same day and there was a total of twenty five pounds in the Top Up account.
I only used the mobile a few times in the UK and on the Sixteenth of July arrived in Dubai, UAE.
I telephoned my wife and spent a while talking to her. On completing the telphone call I noticed that I ahd two pounds, twenty five pence in my account. (I was quite happy with the cost of the call to UK).
I decided to top up using the mobile only to be told I had reached my twenty pounds limit for the month. I couldn't believe such a restriction. So I tried topping up online, only to receive the seme message!
I emailed top up accounts department and they informed me that they could sort it out as long as I sent them certain security details, which I did. It took a total of five emails, before they were satisfied. ( I accept this.) It is now the twenty third of July 2009 and nothing has been resolved.
The irony of this, is that I am a shareholder of Telefonica and our shares are still below what they were in October 2008!
Ihave tried to email the Managing Director of our company but there is a fault with the server that deals with his email. I want the Board to review this policy of twenty pounds a month it is absolutely rediculous and we are losing income. I estimate over the eight days here in Dubai I would have spent between £160.00 - £200.00 a loss of income for our company. How much more has been lost?

o2 — Top up card
Dear Sir, I think you should make it clear that O2 and O2 Wireless are not the same firm. Whilst in Florida I bought a £25 top up card, which I could not add to my mobile. The shop where I bought the voucher would not return my money. On returning home I went to O2 shop to complain and found that The name O2 is the name for two uncompatable firms. I feel that you should make this known to all customers going to America, so that they do not loose money .
A very unsatisfied customer
