okara leasing and investment limited — teak plantation certificates

OKARA LEASING & INVESTMENT LIMITED 1557, Church rRoad, Kashmere Gate, New Delhi-110006 issued a certificate No.7165, Regd no.S644 on
29th march 1993for teck tree pairs one for Rs.1, 50, 000.00. But the matter is this that the postdated chques has not yet been honoured by the Bank
which was issued Panjab national Bank Jangpura, New delhi-110014 for Rs.@ 1000/-every after 5 years.It was totally false and pain to the customer
as the matter dit not looked into by the Company during the material period.As such I may kindly be assured the payment Rs.1, 50, 000+3, 000/- immediately.
I think the matter will be dealed seriously other wise legal action which deemed fit will be inniciated against the company or
through the MP of West Bengal to whom the matter had already been discussed.

Company is not in atitute to refund the agreed amount as I have already failed to get cash from the bank to produced the
cheque duly issued by the company on the begaining of the policy. Now the maturity value is to be paid by the company
after 20 years from the issued date that is 29th day of March 1993 amounting to Rs.1, 50, 000.00.Please take approproate action
in favour of the customer as per the terms and condition. So far my knowledge goes I think the variation will not be effected
in the law duly framed by the Govt. of India, other wise the matter will be in contamenation in all part.

Early soluation is expected.

What is my fate inrespect of the policy duly purchased by me from Okara leasing and In vestment Company in the year 1993 and the company made me full and denied to pay the amount as had been issued tgrough cheque and the matter was also informed to the company time to time. Now question is this that the Company is still running before the eyes of Governmentandno action is being taken bythe government for the sake of customer.It is nodoubt is very dengerous motive from the part of Company where business is still going on .How this is happining I do not know on;ly I can say that without the help of any responsible authority they can not do like this acftivities since loing.Please help us those who are in same trouble in purchasing the product which was announced by them in full confidence that money will be guaranteeing in all rewspect.

I am myself a investor rather victim of Okara. About 12 years back a case was filed in consumer disputes court at kashmere gate / tis hazari by a group of 250 people. The order was declared in favour of investors and Okara was ordered to pay investors with interest. However, Okara did not, the case was than transferred to High Court but again no results. At that time the directors and owners of Okara group were even put behind bars. I than lost track of the developments. Below is the only or last link that i could find on the internet.

Would suggest you all to approach company law board office and High Court and try to find out the latest update rather than hitting the bushes. it wont be busy, you must be an expert to retrieve information from clerks over there (you know what i mean)

OKARA LEASING & INVESTMENT LIMITED 1557, Church Road, Kashmere Gate New Delhi-110006 : With response to my application No.33788 dated 23.07.1997, I was issued with money receipt No.4666 dated 23.07.97 on account of Share Application. A post dated cheque No.631497 dated 23.07.1999 of Rs.60, 000/- was issued by Company, drawn on Punjab National Bank, Jangpura, New Delhi. The Cheque was presented in the said Bank through SBI Swasthiya vihar, Delhi, wherin Punjab National Bank Jangpura intimated to SBI Swasthiya Vihar, Delhi vide their Memorandum dated 23.07.1999 that Account attached by Income Tax Deptt. No deduction allowed. Please help me to get back my hardest money.

Guys if anyone has anyupdate on the payments that liquidation company that sits in Lodhi road has the full access to the money they have collected post liquidating okara assests and ready to realse our payments but till date we have no clue
