I am also a customer of PADMAVATHY GAS AGENCY, they are the worst in chennai. I didn't experience such delays. They never pick up the phone and they event do provide online or SMS booking. If we go in person they will respond in a rude manner. If you take a survey with the customers who has taken connection with this people for more than 6 months you get 100% disatisfaction from all.

I am a consumer of misra gas service Varanasi,I booked a gas on 8 feb 2011 recip no.2911 but no dileverd till on 11 march 2011 rightnow
also I complaint 5 time but no ant reponce from agency.
sp please look this matter as soon as posible.

Padmavathy Gas agency is the worst i have ever seen.
a) It will always be busy .
b) Will never stick to commited date.
c) Will always get cylinder only after 15 days.
d) TO get second cylinder, you have to purchase items worth 4000 Rs.
e) What this hell is this rule.
f) I dont see Customer complaint book kept there. Even if we ask, they will not give.

@Subash, did you receive any mails from BP, regarding your complaint. I am from Sembakkam area, and after reading all these complaints, I dont want to go for BP or this agency. Can anyone tell, if I can chose, either Velachery or Thiruvanmiyur agency?

I just called Velachery agency, they told they don't service Sembakkam area, so I called the selaiyur agency, guess what, my call was answered. I asked them about new bookings, they told they are not taking orders for new booking now, I asked why, they say already bookings are full for the next 2 months.
I don't who is at fault here, is BP cheating the public openly by advertising "get a connection in 24 hours", or is Padmavathy agency cheating the customers, by catering to grey markets.
Why do we have to put up with it? Going to get an induction stove today. :(

I called the Chennai BP office, and told that the selaiyur agency is telling that no new orders are being taken for new connection. They just confirmed that it is true as there are equipment shortage, and there is no time frame when this is be resolved. I asked then why has it been advertised by the company as "24 hours", they told it was in normal times, but after the Govt. distributed free gas connection for all, this shortage has come. I don't know whether to laugh or cry. The entire system is rotten, no planning, no feasibility check, nothing. Going to Indane, again, don't know what awaits me there.

) They will never pick up their calls, if connected luckily, they will behave rude and make your day!!
2) If you book order through online booking, they will say online booking will not work with their Agency, (Are they in Alien Space??)
3) They sell your gas cylinder to commercial purpose for higher price.

we faced the same problem with this agency -
1. they never pick up the calls
2. we got our cylinder delivered after a month of booking, also with no bills!!!
3. when we aksed for 2nd cylinder, they asked to come after 2 months and this loop is still going on after 2 years.
don't know where to go ...

Commercial refill costs very high with PADMAVATHY GAS AGENCY, They don't provide us with bills.
