[Resolved]  PHOENIX COURIER - ASHISH SHETH — DAMAGE/LOSS/DESTRUCTION OF GOODS

We were referred to Mr. Ashis Sheth of Vile Parle who works for Phoenix Courier Company. He ame to collect our large shipment and guaranteed proper packing and insurance and demanded payment in cash apparenly he was trying to hide the income from tax authorities. We did not agree but paid him upfront. Thereafter, what happened to us is a nightmare and we lost more than 50% of our goods value due to theft, mishandling and itentional damage and even after several complaints in writing never heard from him again..

Beware of this dishonest crook and never give him more business.

Our relatives were also duped by this person but we did not see pevious complaints and only after learning the hard way, I tried to find online postings and by luch came across many complaints on different sites.

Dear Mr.Ashish,
You can start by answering your phone and replying to emails.Sitting there for 5 years will not help in solving customer complaints.You actually overcharge and do not do anything about damage claims.
Pls take effort to respond to customer calls.You cannot expect your clients to visit you in vile parle everything there is a problem !!!

This man has done the exact same to us and our family he promised nothing would happen and packaging would be properly done. However all our products have come broken. He never picks up his phone. He is a very bad man. Please beware and i hope the cops catch him soon.

I am so lucky that I cam across this posting and complaint against this person. We were about to trust with large shipment and he wanted 50% in cash and rest by cheque. We got concerned and decided to check. Now we know better and will NOT give him business.

This guy Ashish is the biggest fraud of the century. I cant understand how crooks of this level are allowed to run a business in India. His only objective is to extract cash from the customers as soon as you hand over the cash and the parcel, forget about it. It will never ever reach the destination. This shameless company is running a huge nexus of fraudsters to dupe their customer.
