[Resolved]  phoenix maritime pvt. ltd — recruitment

Phoenix has also come to our college and i have been selected in it. i would be thankful if anyone would give me some info about this company.
i am doing ma E & C engg and they have selected me for the post of GES... whereas i should have been selected for the post of electro technical officer???
please help! and will i be surely recruited after my training with the so told amount on 1.5lac per month package ?

mobile comm pvt ltd — fake training and don't give placement. placement

Mobilecom pvt ltd training and placement is a fake company.
They said that they have urgent opening of 70
And after completing training , they said we are trying to place u
But the mmarket conditions Is not good . SO where is the requirement.

Ok...Give the list of those 21 academies which you have tied up with and also in which company u ppl will place a candidate after training.I bet you those institutes are not at all reputed institutes but just a normal institutes thats why phoenix didnt give me list of those 21 institutes which they tied up with. The problem with phoenix maritime services limited is that the are not at all transparent enough about anything.. they say that they have panel of doctors who do medical check up..! but the fact is they send you to a private medical lab and the medical fee is 3500 rs(i was sent to religare lab in koramangla), which is very costly and funny thing is receipt for medical test was not given by religare lab instead it was phoenix maritime which gave reciept for 3500 rs which clearly shows that there is commission for phoenix from medical test and the offer letter which phoenix maritime gives does not mention any thing on how much salary could be expected by a candidate..! offer letter mentions just that you have been placed in phoenix maritime and fee structure which a candidate has to pay for his training ie 3 lacks for electrical ppl, around 5 lacks for enc ppl... so this offer letter is not at all valid without mentioning the pay which phoenix is going to pay..! just giving a zerox pamphlet with fee structure during recruitment day is all what assurance phoenix maritime gives about the salary..these are the few things from my personal view point which i went through..

@PHOENIX :plz dont threaten ppl saying u will take legal action, ...!! common for god's sake this is a democratic country..everyone has a right to express their view point.. :) :)

...nw thet called me and my friends also at june 19 to come bangalore to medical checkup and pay 20, 000 thosand is good company r not ...plz tell me any one

MR JANA.its upto you.think twice.dont ruin ur future...these guys dont have their own ships..they are like agents..i[censored] are so interested in merchant navy i would suggest u to do in those institutes which have their own ships..! phoenix will charge 3 lacs for electrical, 4.5 lacs for mech and 5 lacs for enc ppl..its way too much..these tie up with some institutions and make profit for sure as they are agents..! yes they will give u job after paying..but in offer letter they never mention anything about the pay they provide..because phoenix doesn't hav own ships..when they give u job in other company ships, there also they get commission from ship owners..and ship owners will give commission from your salary..so u will be paid less..and u cant protest for less pay and u cant say no to phoenix and u have to join which ever ship company they are asking u to join..and bangalore these have just small office in richmond circle..they dont have their own doctors to do medical checkup. they will ask u to move to LAB CALLED RELIGARE LAB IN KORAMANGALA. u have to pay 3500 rs for ECG, B.P, BLOOD TEST, URINE TEST. to do these tests u need not come from T.N to BANGALORE..!!..and in tamilnadu u can do these check up for less than 1500rs.. From this also phoenix makes commission as religare lab does not give u the receipt but its phoenix which gives reciept..!
i have right to express my views..thats wat i hav done.. I SUGGEST ALL WHO WANT TO GO TO PHOENIX, PLZ VERIFY WITH LAST YEAR BATCH STUDENTS AND THEN DECIDE..To do that go to phoenix maritime website, there u will see many ppl with their photos.. go to facebook and try to contact them and verify about this company...i'm very happy that before i could ruin my life at the right point came to know from my seniors that it was not worth joining shipping through agents...I SAVED MY SELF..!!

My name is tushar, i have been selected for this company and gone through the first round of medical round, and now on 18th june 2011 they have called for the second round of medical test eich is manditory and when i called they they are saying we have to trust us and all, i am really confused, I stay in bangalor jayanagar 9th block, my email id is [protected]@hotmail.com and please give me some info about this, i have already paid 20000 at the first mdiacl tst and i got the letter, if we can, we will take legal actions, i will b you. please given me info...

tushar did they mention a word of anything on salary which they are providing you after u finish your course in your offer letter..? no right..!!! atleast have they given you the college where they are going to admit u for the course ..? no right...!! well they will take money from you for the course, and as advance they have taken 20000..well dont you think u should have asked them the college in which they are going to put you..? atleast have you verified the ships in which they are going to give you a job..? no right..!! then how will you trust them man, ...? just in the phone if they say trust me u will trust or wat..?
dude think twice, be wise..! you stay in bangalore.. u have lots of opportunities in bangalore..ok...its your wish.. but think twice before u act and dont regret later..all the best..:)

dis is rakesh...am placed in dis company through on campus nd called to banglore fr the medical test nd paid 20000rs through dd...nw am again called to the banglore on 18th june fr medical test along with the 30000rs cash as a part of term fee...dnt knw y dese company showing much more intrest on money den the words which said us before paying 20000...am nt underestimating the company but am too much confused...am nt pointing the company directly becoz wat r the comments which i red till nw dont have any proofs...so am directly asking the PHEONIX directors to make us aware abt the company 1st...if sum thing goes wrong wit the company we ppl r nt gng to be quite till our 20000rs refunded...

yes this company didn't give any job to anybody from last batches. Please do not waste ur money by jooin this...

i consult with the last year batch students and none of them got any jobs. /...So plz don't try this...

mr rakesh.. ok...ur r telling that all who have commented here have no proof ..! as u say.. its upto u...its ur money. u hav right to do wat u feel...and this place is not where u can expect a phoneix maritime director to comment...!!when u were giving 20k u shud have asked them in detail abt their company..one thing is sure wat u pay to them wont be refunded.. at least when u r going to their office again for second medical check up, plz remember to thoroughly enquire abt the students who previously got selected from them and in which ships they have been put to work.only then pay that 30k dd..!!..when i went to blore for my first medicals with 20k, that lady in phoenix office called kalpana didint give a single detail even after pleading her to give more information abt the institutes which they are going to put placed students in phoenix, neither did she give me the ship names which they are going to place us...i am from mlore..with great hope i had gone to their office for medicals from mlore to blore...i thought my life is settled and i will be successful...then i realised that this company was not at all worth the hype which they are talking of..!! anyways its upto u..all the best.. :)

once you pay lakhs rupees to phoenix maritime . you wont get back the money . and that training which they give doesn't deserve the lakh's rupees..
it is very important to make the right decision because it the matter of lot of money which your parents are going to pay .
if your parents can afford that much of money then you can join phoenix..

Thank u guys for your opinion, now i came to know that why the company HR visited our college was explaining us that there is lots of "risk"...! actually the risk is not about life it is about company... i think..
when i asked for institute name through telephony at which they are going to admit me, they replied that it will disclose after clearing the Medical, they didn't agreed to provide numbers of candidates placed in ships, then how i believe in this company..

At least before medical, they must provide data regarding Institute, and pre - placement job letter including salary...

so guys keep sharing your experiences.. to save others..

i m final year student of electrical engineering from jaipur and i got selected by phoenix through campus recruitment drive and they demanding 4 lakhs for the course of ETO.
Is this company is fake or it is just the formality of the recruiting process.
If it is a fake company then plz tell which institute is good for the ETO course...

yes Phoenix maritime services is a Fraud company.. plz for god sake dont allow this company to the colleges. i hav already lost valueble two yeaaars in my career... They are cheating students...

Please don't join this company with the offer they provide you its being 1 nd half year since am waiting for the orders but got pissed off with the response.I spend nearly Rs.50000/- for all the registration and medical but till date am jobless.Please and please think.
