Johnsons Power Company (JPC), New Delhi,
refuses to honour 18 month warranty obligation for prestolite batter purchased from it on 18/02/2011. In the morning call to Sh. Praveen Jain of JPC, warranty replacement was ok, but on follow-up in the evening the same was negated with lot of lengthy technical explanations!
The Prestolite battery 12v / 120Ah was purchased on the recommendation of 'APC' , for APC Home Inverter. We do not know how wisdom can prevail and the customer may not be bullied in any way. We have complained at APC to resolve the issue within 48 hrs.
In what way can Indian Consumers Complaint Forum (ICCF) guide and help, in getting this / such issues addressed in the spirit of mutual trust and responsibility?
