[Resolved]  Punjab Urban Development Authority (Puda) — fraud

I have alos deposited the amount. It is very astonishing to note that puda is sleeping over the lacs of applications and not even bothered to intimate the aspiring persons. I think puda consumser forum should be approached.

My dad applied for this demand survey, under his name and my mother's name.He expired 3 years ago, what is the procudure to get this refunded. Can we raise a case against PUDA to provide compensation in accordance to the price of land which used to cost 3000 per sq yard is now for[protected] per sq yrd, this means that we must file a recovery of atleast 15 times to demand survey amount...

Kindly share your view.

This is in regard to the attitude of the staff towards consumers, i have applied for my ownership of ( 3486 mig phase 2 urban estate Dugri. ) in the name of prabhjeet singh a month ago and i went to your respective office at Ferozepur road but the response was very casual and then i met the concerned person for my area ( Madam Santosh ) but she was again very casual and replied that i could not check the details as i had to search a lot for it, all the staff members were sitting and chatting around but they were not free to listen to me,

kindly check for my ownership document as i urgently need it...

I had also filled out the demand survey. I have not received my money back as well. Anyone out there who has gotten his money back?

Hi All,
I just called on the no listed above and i was given another no at which i talked to a Mr Satish. He informed me that i would have to come to the PUDA office opposite Fortis with my receipts to get my refund. On enquiring if PUDA was building anything as per the demand survey he informed me that nothing like that was planned.
What is everyone else planning? Should we just leave the money with PUDA in hopes that something might materialise or withdraw our money?

There was a demand survey conducted by PUDA in the year 2002-03 from the people who wants to have a house in the Mohali. The forms were filled by lakhs of people. Rs 3000 per form was taken by the PUDA. They had not done anything for those people who had shown their interest by giving Rs 3000 on the forms.In the last 7 years mohali expanded around 15 kms from each side. All the land sold to big builders but no body took care of those people who filled the forms in Yr[protected]. Now on enquiring at PUDA Bhawan (PUDA office), they said that bring original receipt of deposit and get your money back without any interest. this is purely a fraud with comman man.please let me know what I can do legaly about this.

This is a sort of brazen act of fraud played by the govt. authorities on the citizens. Are we doing something about it. Atleast we should make a claim for Rs. 1 lac agasint the PUDA.

Puda announced up coming projects in the name of Aerocity in Mohali they accommodated all categorize all over from India can apply. But they don't accommodated people of demand survey conducted by PUDA in the year 2002-03 from the people who wants to have a house in the Mohali. The forms were filled by lakhs of people. I truly agree ...I applied two applications and till date i have not heard a single line letter from PUDA...it is painful that people's hardearned money is going waste like this.

PUDA MEANS... punishment under death allotments... they never give us any plots neither they give any interest they doing only grab the money from people of India totally commercialised

I AM ALSO ONE OF THE VICTIM OF DEMAND SURVEY. IT IS SAID THAT WE SHOULD NOT FALL IN THE TRAP OF CHEATERS BUT HERE THE GOVT IS CHEATER AND WE ARE WAITING WITH A FOND HOPE THAT THEY WILL LISTEN AND AT LEAST COMMUNICATE WITH PUBLIC. IS ANY BODY INCLUDING JUDICIARY OR GOVT LISTENING?

I am victim of Zeerakpur PUDA Land Survey scam, 8 years after depositing money they refunded without interest and all the land is now in the private hands while PUDA's Public Servant dupes public and earns fortune.

I am also an applicant and deposited rs. 2000. But till date did not get my refund with interest. I visited gmada office for refund but they refused to pay any interest on the same amount. I think we should approch to legal action and media as well.

I am also one of these victims who has applied for a house in Mohali in demand survey conducted in 2002-03 but still have not received any information, please let me know when are they going to start the housing project, when approached PUDA are clueless on this demand survey. I suggest we all should put a RTI and ask for the information about the people who applied under this scheme and than put a writ petition.
