Quantum Hi-tech/ QHM 500LM Web camera — Defective web-camera

Sir/Madam,
I recently bought an 8 Mega-pixels PC Camera of 'Quantum Hi-Tech' with item description 'QHM 500LM USB Web Camera' from M/S Camma Hi-Tech Computers Pvt. Ltd., Nehru Place, New Delhi. After I installed the drivers of the web camera from the cd provided, I plugged in the web-camera to my PC.but to my dismay, the clarity of the web camera was very poor as if some translucent material was placed between the object (me) and the camera. The image obtained on the screen was very blurry and the faces were indistinguishable. I thought updating the drivers from the site might solve the problem , but same drivers were present on the site.I also tried to alter different settings such as increasing /decreasing the resolution of the video but the thing it did was to increase the size of the frame and the quality of the image worsened at higher resolutions. Other functions such as night-vision,zoom microphone are working fine.I tried to contact support at the telephone number provided many times over but didn't get any response.
I sincerely hope you would respond to this mail as soon as possible as this product is under warranty, so that I may be able to work with the 8 mega-pixel camera.Looking forward for your reply,
