i want to make a ration card

this is with regards to addition of a new name in ration card. The officers in the andheri ration office are not supportive. They just make you run from one place to another. the officer sitting at counters are far too slow and sometimes forget that there are people waiting in the queue. it would be great, if ration card details are also computerized just like passport. The officers who go for lunch breaks do not return in time resulting to huge queues. I had been waiting for them to return from lunch from 1:45 only to see them turn up at 3:00 pm. Totally unprofessional attitude and rude while speaking. From the word speaking i now realize they hardly speak, the only language that works there is sign language and if you dont understand you are abused for not understanding. apart from sign language corruption is the next language that they understand.
Please help. This complaint is not only on my behalf but on the behalf of all those poor people who stand in long queues only to await their turn. and its a record that they maintian that nobody will get their work done in one single visit. people have to come at least 3-4 times to get their one simple work done.
Does adding a name in ration card take 3-4 months?

Ration card Office — Officers do not report on time to office
The administrative officers in the D-ward ration card office do not report to office at the specified work hours thus keeping hundreds of consumers waiting and delaying all work Even i agrre to Ajay. We can clearly see their unprofessional and rude behaiviuor. I went for first time to the office with forms and without seeing the forms the lady at the counter giving signs on form commented tat "why u all people come in all day, I will give you the sign and dont stand in the line for entering name jus come after 2 to 3 days n dont overload us today", it was 10.30 jus half an hour after the counter opened. I have been visitng this office for last 3 days to enter my wifes name in ration card whereas to remove her name from her old ration card from parle office took just 20 minutes.
Even I am facing same kind of Problem applied for a new ration card in the month of OCT09 till havent received no inspector has come to visit the residence and since then I am going there to find out the status now they have lost my form I mean they are not finding it and they told me to give the copy of the receipt they will search the same and keep it and they told me to call on wednesday for which I called them for which he is telling you will have to come personally and meet I dont know what to do first of all the staff is so old generation some times it feel they should be put in prison for this kind of behaviours as if they are working and rest of the people are idle to go whenever they call.
yes the same case is with me also, my wife's name is removed from her fathers ration card, but the name removal slip issued by their rationing office was unfortunately lost by my father while travelling.
it was not lost carelessly. so when i prensented this issue with both borivali and nallasopara ration office, both denied for further procedure. and were talking very rediuocusly and inhumanly.i think there is solution for each and every case but this people are not aware of those or simply as every govt person does they want some money to do it. i think they all should be punished severly for non-coperating citizens.or sacked from their jobs.

WE HAVE LOWER THAN THIRD CLASS GOVERNMENT OFFICES...AND THEY WANT TO MAKE MUMBAI LIKE 'SHANGHAI'. WHY THEY HELL THEY CANNOT RECRUIT MORE PEOPLE, PROVIDE SEATING ARRANGEMENTS OR ATLEAST SHADESSSSS..RUTHLESS and HOPELESS PEOPLE. ELDERS WAITING IN THE Q SINCE 10.00am and SHARP 2.00pm COUNTER CLOSES. WHY IS THERE ONLY ONE COUNTERRRRRRR..WISH I COULD WRITE BOLDER THAN THIS...WE SHOULD HAVE ATLEAST 15 COUNTERS. SIMPLE THING GOVERNMENT DOESN'T UNDERSTAND..UTTER SHAME.

This is regarding ration card machine problem at chakala, Andheri East. On 23rd we found machine is not working, then we were told to check after one day. Today 25th it is not ok. After two days month will be over because Monday ration is closed and 28 is last day of month. If ration is not given due to machine problem what to do? He will not give this ration in next month.
