Dear Mr or Ms X, will you please tell me, why u comment like this. B'z i am his patient. Now only i have approached him for treatment. please let me know ur views abt him and reason for the same. this is my mobile no: [protected].
If one surgery is not successful, its not meaning that the doctor is incapable. Doctors give treatment only. God only make it success. No doctor wld think that his/her patients shd not recover from disease/illness... Nowadays we are ready to pay Rs.50000 to 1 lakh for Pre KG admission itself. When paying doctor fees why shd we mind much. For best treatment we must pay much. Nothing wrong it that. Though they get large amount, they sacrifice many things for us. Before blaming anybody, think twice. Dont blame blindly. Suppose i[censored] have strong reasons and proofs disclose it to everyone. Other people atleast let get awareness through u... Dont write as u like... Shall i show u some persons who got treatment from him and live happily?
It has long been known that radiation therapy can slightly raise the risk of getting another cancer. It’s one of the possible side effects of treatment that doctors have to think about when they weigh the benefits and risks of each treatment. For the most part, the risk of a second cancer from these treatments is small and is outweighed by the benefit of treating the cancer, but the risk is not zero. This is one of the many reasons each case is different and each person must be part of deciding which kind of treatment is right for them.
Dr.Ravi Iyengar is one of the greats we had come across..We had been running around for diagnosis of my father's brother who had intermittent low grade fever for more than two months and pain in periumbilical region for which we had consulted an urologist. Post abdominal scan and examination, he suspected a possible liver lesion and referred to a Castro enterologist. The Gastro suggested for blood test, peripheral smear, blood culture, infective endocarditis, blood tumour marker etc, all of which were negative and the root cause was inconclusive. On further complaints of fever, swollen leg, he advised for ultrasound scan which indicated swollen lymph nodes mainly in the caudate lobe of the liver and indicative of multiple lesions and directed us to a radiologist for fine needle aspiration drainage of the pus in the lesion..The radiologist on examination, observed that the lesion didn't thave any cavity and thereby no pus which can be aspirated as well as the position of lesion being very critical close to the blood vessels posing risk in case of needle aspiration..The Gastro Mr Sasikumar referred to Dr Ramakrishna in SIMS.Dr Ramakrishna, on understanding the case history recommended to conduct CBC, Angiotensin converting enzyme, Quantiferon TB gold test..CBC was normal and the rest were negative thereby the diagnosis was still inconclusive and further recommended to consult Dr Suresh Infectious Disease specialist before doing Fine needle aspiration cytology..Dr Suresh on physical examination observed possible chances of Tb and recommend for PET scan, Gram's stain, Fungal culture, AFB culture, Fine needle aspiration Cytology. PET scan reported multiple hyperchromatic, necrotic nodes with max FdG SUV uptake up to 16 inclining towards malignancy and all other cultures including AFB stain were negative but grams being occasionally positive..FNAC smear test reported cell structure of acinar, papillary, pleomorphic type with scanty cytoplasm suggestive of adenocarcinoma but the cell block study just showed blood clot with negative for malignant cells..They couldn't conclude this as adenocarcinoma and recommended for core biopsy and referred an oncologist Dr Balaji in Trichy .Multiple opinions from various drs were suggestive of 4th stage adenocarcinoma due to the metastasis in the liver as per fnac..
However Dr Ravi Iyengar, Senior Surgical Oncologist in KMC trichy was the only one who on physical examination of the rigidity of the nodes in the neck, chest in addition to the CEO CA 19 tumor mark up which hadn't spiked up and on understanding from the senior pathologist who prepared the fnac report on the inconclusiveness of the report gave us immense hope of the condition not being adenocarcinoma and possibility of non malignancy or first stage lymphoma..
His hopes motivated us to carry out biopsy, laparotomy couldn't suffice, but Dr Balaji and team successfully carried out open invasive surgery to the remove the sample tissue for biopsy and afb culture.
To everyone's surprise and happiness, the report indicated of non malignant cells but langhan cells with granulomatous lymphadenitis suggestive of Tuberculosis..
People like Dr Ravi are the real people in the disguise of Almighty to give timely hopes with their deep expertise in the subject for the well being of the patient..
It is to be highlighted that Dr Ravi was kind enough to spare his time amidst his busy schedule respecting and understanding our timely need without even accepting Any consulting fees..
