I Pushparaj Ponnian had applied for issue for a passport under the tatkal scheme at the Regional Passport office - Madurai on 22.03.2010.
Since then I have made several enquiries regarding the status of my application at the RPO Madurai. I have been told that the matter is pending police enquiry. I have made enquiries at the SP's Office in Nagercoil and also at the Police Station in Pudukadai, but at both places I am told that no request for police enquiry has been received from the RPO Madurai. I have made several trips from ny native Nagercoil to Madurai but get no other answer from the RPO except that the matter is pending police enquiry.
I fail to understand where the gap is. There is no response to telephonic enquiries from the RPO Madurai. I have also sent two emails to the RPO Madurai but there is no response.
Which forum can I appeal to for this lapse?
I have already lost two job opprotunities because of the delay in getting my passport.
As a matter of fact, I have a passport which is due to expire. That is why I had to apply for a reissue of the same.
I will be truly grateful if this matter is resolved speedily.
