register post — registered post not delivered

dear sir,
i sent a resistered post to one of my friend in u.s.a on 2nd august, 2008.he is saying that he didnt recieved the post so please check this matter and give me a mail.
the address i sent the register was
ravikanth peddada
168, mercer street
trenton, new jersey, u.s.a

and the registered post reciept number was 1954
