[Resolved]  Road Tax — payment of road tax

Sir,
I am an central government employee and having a four wheeler. For which government employees are having the option to pay road tax lifetrime or yearly as per the karnataka gazatte notification in 2006. It is learnt that from my other friends who are also government employees when they approach RTO Dharwad to pay the road tax they are telling they shall not accept yearly tax and force the vehicle owners to pay lifetime tax.
