[Resolved] RPO chennai — Passport Renewal | |
Dear Sir, I applied for my passport renewal at CGI at SFO on February 24th. As per their website, only 10 business days needed for the passport renewal process.But in my case, I have not received my passport and its almost one month after the submission took place. They replied me stating that they are waiting for clearance from Chennai RPO. I tried to contact Chennai passport office several times, but nobody respond over emails and phone calls.What a pity place is that! I couldn't understand why a Govt. office behaves like that.Everyday I called up Consulate General's office, San francisco and getting the same reply that they didn't get any response from Chennai RPO.Why they delaying the process? Applied for renewal of a short validity passport with valid Visa to RPO chennai in April. No track of it. Nobody picks up the phone, No reply to email. I have a trip abroad scheduled next month.. who should I approach?

i applied my doughter passport renewal sub; in ooty collector office in the month of june 2008, i confirm the send the passport to chennai at tne nextday, till no respones from chennai, i am in saudi arabi, my family have to come befor december 23th my daughter valid visa in the old passport untill 23 december, please let me know why he delay of the minar passport renewval?

i applied passport in bangalore. on 09/04/2009 my ref:no BNGB 13056909 my home town is bangalore and i am working in ambur vellore dt . is central goverment my job is transable . i received letter on 18/05/09 from rpo bangalore office. stating as per NOC you are working at tamil nadu pl furnish ur clarification. i met apo in bang they saying ur application has tranfer to rpo chennai .shall forward this application are any changes required
