[Resolved]  S. B. I. — ATM FRAUD

Sub : Serious erroneous transaction at ATM – Hebbal Branch
Sir,
I am Gouri Chakraborty from Malda (w.b). I have an account in SBI-Rathbari Branch (Malda) A/C no = [protected] & ATM card no =[protected]. Last April I went to visit my younger son who is a resident of Bangalore.
During my brief stay I used my ATM card there for personal purpose. But after returning to Malda & checking my balance I found that my account was tampered with on[protected] at 04:06:41 & 04:06:42 hrs. Respectively at "Hebbal Branch" ATM no =S1AN00131601 according to statement received from Branch Manager (Rathbari-8436) via letter no.-BM/ATM/26/60 dated 21-May, 2009. (attached herewith). I categorically deny having carried out such transactions, even at that unearthly hour, that day. Moreover, I was sleeping at that hour & my ATM Card was surely secured in my possession.
Moreover, I STRONGLY BELIEVE that it is not possible to physically withdraw such amount of cash (in two steps) via any ATM within a gap of only 1 (one) second !! (Rs.15000 & 10500 respectively). Kindly enquire seriously into the matter and provide some earthly & convincing explanation along with sound proof as to who did it. I demand an enquiry into the video footage of the concerned ATM at that unearthly hour. Please treat this as urgent as many other customers also could be deceived by such fraudulent transactions & thereby lead to a great disaster.
