To
The Bank Lokpal,
In continuation to the above mentioned letter from SBI Waidhan Branch Manager to SBI CPPC, Govindpura, Bhopal, I am seeking your support through this communication on behalf of my father Sri C.S.Mishra. He is not well under regular treatment for his incurable neurological problem in his Spinal Cord and his legs and is not allowed for any strenuous movements. And, due to that, he was not able to update his passbook for past several months and finally noticed a major discrepancy in the month of July'2012.
And, last month he noticed that his pension amount in his A/c of SBI Waidhan has been reduced from Rs.14171.00 to Rs. 4831.00 from August 2011 to Nov'2011. It was Rs. 5159.00 in Dec'2011 and Rs.5481.00 from Jan'2012 onwards.
Latter, after several written communications with local SBI bank, Waidhan Branch the SBI CPPC, Govindpura is saying that the there were some miscalculation and due to the same they are now deducting the extra pension amount paid to him.
Its really an Irony for all o[censored]s that till date there is no transperancy about the reason of miscalculation, even if it was then when it was identified?
Is it not a moral responsibilty for these Cell's to inform the pensioner about the same? And, what is the exact amount of pension now? What are the amounts getting deducted and till what month these amount should be deducted?
Whereas, as per the letter no. OR/CCA/PEN/BPT/PC-189/PPO/852/05-06/19 dated 11.7.2011 from the Communication Accounts Officer (Pen-II), O/o The Controller of Communication Accounts, Orissa Telecom Circle, CPMG Bldg, Bhubaneswar -751001 and the letter CCA/MPT/101/Transfer/CSM/852/2402 dated 12.09.2011 to you from Manager, SBI (Main Branch) Sidhi, MP, for making payment of the revised Pension of Rs.12271.00 + (15006*IDR% ) wef 01.01.2001 p.m.
According to these letter, he is expected to get the arrears from last 2007, i.e. revised pension minus previously paid amount, but neither he has got his arrears nor his eligible pension amount, which is very shocking and disheartening.
Hence, you are requested to kindly look into the matter on priority and do the needful at the earliest, since he is not well on regular medication and this issue is impacting on his health adversely.
Thanking you,
Regards,
Prativa
