School fees — School Fees

Sir/Madam,

I am moving out from Bangalore due to some personal reason. My daughter is studying Presidency school Bangalore south. I had been to school today to apply Transfer Certificate. School Principal told me to pay first term school fees (4 month tuitions fees + full year building maintenance and other fees, total 24000 irs) then only she can issue the TC for my daughter. School is going to reopen in month of June

Please advice me, If anything can be done in order to avoid paying such huge amount to school.
However, I am in the position to pay minimal amount i.e. 4 month tuitions fees but not the huge amount listed above
