I bought a servotech Inverter from Big Bazaar, Sahara Mall, Gurgaon on 21/07/2008.
Bill Number for this purchase is 185/2244.
One month back I informed Servotech that my inverter’s backup has been reduced to 1.5 hours and it is still in warrenty period.
After somedays one of servotech engineer came to my house, checked Inverter and gave feedback to servotech that due to more power cuts my inverter is not able to charge fully and that’s why it is giving less backup. But this is completely false. It was giving 1.5 hours of power backup after full charging.
I informed Servotech about this then they asked me about bill. I sent scanned copy of bill by email. Again after so many days they replied that Servotech and Big Bazaar has contract that Inverter purchased from big bazaar will be serviced by Big Bazaar only.
Then I wrote mail to [protected]@ezoneindia.com and surprisingly Big Bazaar executive Mr. Gaurav called me on second day. He assured me that this problem will solve or I will get next update by Monday (after 4 days). But after 1 week and 4 days(29/06/2009) I got update that Mr. Gaurav will send a person to pick inverter and Big bazaar will give me service because it is still in warranty period.
Then on 30/06/2009 he told me that due to shifting in Electronic bazaar big Bazaar will not be able to pick my inverter so they will pick it on Thursday. On Thursday Mr. Gaurav told me that on special request of Big Bazaar, Servotech is ready to replace my inverter And their executive will come to my home shortly.
On Friday(03/07/2009), Saturday I called to Servotech but I got very unprofessional response that “I don’t have any update and if somebody has talked to Big Bazaar, I need to confirm it from sarika ma’m”
But the person who gave me this response was continuously telling me from Friday to till Monday(06/07/2009) 4 PM that “SARIKA MA’M IS NOT ON SEAT”
then they informed me that they don’t have any update regarding Inverter and Big bazaar is misguiding you.
I talked to Gaurav again and he assured me that they will talk to servotech.
Next day Gaurav called me and told that servotech is demanding Rs 2400/- for replacing battery and they can't repair it. but as I am Big bazaar's customer so If you will pay Rs. 2400/- to Servotech. he will get Rs 800/- reimbursed from Big Bazaar for me.
Now When My Inverter is in warrenty so why I should pay them? They should not fool customers.
I tried to file complaint at core.nic.in but that is giving some java error after clicking OK

but after 2 months only it started giving problem during the one year of warranty period I have lodged the complaint at least 8 times and every time engineer used to say now it is okay and there will be no problem. the took my battery for servicing or replace in January 09 and returned me back after almost one month.
but after facing the problem for whole of the year again it is not working since last 5 days and the warranty period is over now by some 20 days, and now company is very proudly saying the warranty period is over.
I don't know how to deal with this.
I again request to the company kindly replace my inverter or battery as it is totally dead and has backup of only 3-5 minutes after full charging.
