Hi,
I am a regular traveller of SETC. I travelled to Chennai from Trichy on 10th May-2009 in 10 PM bus.
I guess, seat nos 9 and 10 will be allocated for ladies. But on that day, seat no 9 was alloted to a guy and 10 was alloted to me. I was asked the conductor to change my seat, as I was not feeling comfortable in travelling with a guy during night. But he was not taken any action regarding this.
It caused me a mental tension during the whole night.
Imagine how can a girl travel with a guy during night? If any thing went wrong, will your conductor take the responsibility?
Also, some of the your SETC conductors taking standing passangers into the bus during night travel(those are also guys). How can we travel comfortably when a guy standing near and keep on watcing us?
What is the safety for the lady passengers?
Due to these thigs, I now looking for trains(even it is rush) rather than a bus. If this continues, surely no ladies will opt SETC buses for night travel.
I request you to kindly change this status and provide some safety to all the lady passangers, who are travelling during night. Was this information helpful? | 
s.e.t.c bus transport — while travelling
sir/madami was travelling on the s.e.t.c bus on the 17/7/2009 from bangalore to coimbatore (bus no. tn 01 n 7110) with my brother girish, we had lot of problems.the bus was i n a bad condition, and we had bugs on the seat which entertained them selves by bitting us.
please check the same and improve th etrvel comfort of the passenger .thank you
