[Resolved] slice of italy — Stale smelling Pizzas | |||
I ordered 2 pizzas + garlic bread at HCL Noida from spice of Italy. First, the garlic breads were so badly served/packed that one cannot even dare to even think about eating them. Secondly, the chicken sprouted on the pizzas was not fresh. Two of my friends had it erroneously I should say and they are now suffering from Diorrhea and Food Poisoning each. The pizza/chicken when smelled, produced a stale/foul smell which was immediately reported to the SoI outlet on which they refused and put it on the barbeque sauce they delivered along with the order. A specimen of the contaminated pizza has been handed over to the delivery boy later. I request the reader, not to even try Spice of Italy for any fast food that they serve. They do not deliver quality in any of their product. Pizza hut and Dominos are far better instead. Please eat good and stay good. Thanks Was this information helpful? | |||

Stay away from Slice of Italy. I ordered a birthday cake from these guys and they managed to ruin my sister's birthday at their convenience. Had a very very bad experience with them.

Well I am a regular customer of Slice of Italy, twice in a month we order late night during our get together with friends, from last three times the quality of pizza have gone from bad to worse. Today i ordered two family pizzas, while ordering I mentioned Deepak that the pizzas were not good(ie less cheese and half cooked) hence kindly ensure its properly cooked or else i will return the pizza.
He assured on phone, at the time of taking I asked delivery guy Ravi, if I should check it he again assured I know sir you mentioned about the cooking and we have ensured fresh pizza. I paid and he left.
To my surprise the pizza was uncooked, no cheese on one of the pizzas and over the top the pizza was completely distorted in the box, to my agony i called the store and rather than apologizing the staff including the manager Asif started shouting at me and said he has many other things and cant help. After my persistence he finally agreed to send the delivery boy, I told him to send new pizzas as it is very embarrassing for me that my friends had to leave without eating and at this time no other deliveries from other vendors is possible. Again to my surprise he said the delivery guy will come and check the quality to which i questioned is he a quality manager? Well finally two guys cane ravi the delivery guy and other guy i Presume Deepak and at 1:45 they were arguing with me that I have eaten one slice from one pizza and 3 slices from other, I told them shame on you guys rather than apologizing on this half cooked food you are arguing on my street at this time with loud voice and this attitude. They called the chef(this is what i was told) the third guy(chef)cane in 12-15 minutes and said yes its half cooked, distorted and less cheese and finally they agreed to refund me.
I asked them if I shall look for another vendor in future or ur team will send a properly done pizza and they answered up to you, we cook what we cook, they literally convinced me never to order again from SLICE OF ITALY.
My point is its not about Rs 800 if i have ordered i wanted to eat and treat my friends not to return the pizza and get into this hustle and argument with untrained staff at 2 am. Well the disappointment is not just the poor quality but more importantly the way your staff MISHANDLED the situation and Now I am hungry and so are my friends with nothing to eat as we were relying upon slice of Italy!

I placed an order for 0.5 kg Chocolate Truffle cake. I was shocked to see the size of the cake. It was too small.
Guys I have placed orders before as well. This is not the first time. I used to order cakes from Slice of Italy almost for all my occasions.
Secondly there was no label on the pack for the weight of the cake.
These guys are cheat. dont order anything from Slice of Italy.

Rating is for restaraunts that actually need it. Today was the last straw with this pathetic Slice of Italy. First order they screwed up had plastic and chewed off nail of most likely one of their workers. Today again i ordered ansandwich and damn again a chewed off nail. These people have no respect for their customers and i[censored] talk to the management they dont take complaints. They dont giveout owners number so atleast he might know. I[censored] want to eat their nails or god knows then order.
I have ordered a doll cake for my daughter birthday. Color of cream is so strong that it is not going from hand. Also, taste if cream is very bitter. The response of outlet is so pathetic, they are saying edible color (I am doubtful) got added extra but there should not be any issue.
