[Resolved]  Star Motors Nagpur — unsatisfactory repairs

This is with ref. to the repairs of my Optra Magnum car # MH 31 CJ 9009 for which we have been complaining since last two of the repair session with the Nagpur Dealer STAR MOTORS
with your company, kindly see into your car history sheet record.that there is some serious problem with my car alignment of mechanical problem of the suspension since my car is eating up my tyres front two that too with in 27000 km of run.
I have been told by your in charge that you are claiming this repair job under warrenty with the manufacturer since your engineers is not knowing the cause of the problems and the overall cost of parts which need to be replaced is to the tune of 27000/- and that I will have to shell out from my pocket and amount of Rs 6500/- of so . and the balance shall be borne by the General Motors.

Upon recieving the car today I have been billed for the said amount for replacement of two numbers shock ups , upon asking for the Details of the JOB card to give me full details of the replacements history and to hand over the balance replaced parts , your Workshop manger has refused to give any details, NOW that IS A DOUBT , whether at all some more work has been done on my car, since the problem still remains the same, my car is still woobling and the travell is jerky.

In lieu of the problem which still persists in my car and not submitting the case papers, JOB card and correspondence with the General Motors, and the replaced spare parts to me, I will request you to not to present my cheque # 646879 dated 16/09/09 of Rs 6750/- untill the above mentioned papers and parts are submitted to be in my office.

You see this is quite a serious issue and you should look into this matter, I have a serious doubt that my car has not been attended and pepaired properly by Star MOTORS nagpur and the burden has been laden over me.

I have been now advised that all the four tyres shoud be replaced , now that is quite amazing that the tyres cannot even make upto 27000/- Km , in fact I shoud be given the replacment of my 2 tyres free of cost, and also the entire cost of repairs shoud be borne by the company.

an Early action shoud be intiated , from the manfacturer and the Service Dealer. to avoid approaching for help of the consumer forum
