Star TV airs a serial called Iss Pyar ko Kya naam doon at 8 PM daily Monday to Friday...In the last few episodes, they are airing a section which shows the ways in which the husband is attempting to kill the wife...I dont see why they should show the chemical compound name ETHER, which purpotedly is being used to spray on the wife by the husband and kill her to make it look like an accident...
Television channels should abstain from direct references to means and tools albeit it may be a part of the plot...This can get a bit too dangerous in a country like India wherein such practices are prevalent needless to say...
Kindly advise them to desist from airing such objectionable content which also has an unwanted social implication Was this information helpful? |
