Suncity Gloria. CLPD. Corporate leisure. Govindacharya. Jagmohan. Sun city builders.

If you plan to deal with any of the above, be prepared to be cheated. Not convinced?? See the feedback around in internet. Still not convinced?? Goto Suncity apartments and checkout their security, boundary wall, commercialization, missing maintenance.

This is what Gloria will be in next 5 years.
1. Half built and construction still going on for the other half.
2. Builder controlling whole complex, trying to buy land around it. And when he buys land around, he will make that as a phase 2 and phase 3. Construction keeps going for 10 years around the apartment. People fed up with EMIs beg for a apartment.
4. In 2025, the club house will be built.
5. In 2030, the swimming pool becomes operational.
6. Suncity builder launches another project in Bangalore. Comments that problems in gloria are temporary.
7. People are debating that Gloria was just bad luck. New project will be successful and they buy.

History repeats again.

Get out now. Run. Even if you have given advance money to the builder, leave it and run.
I do not know who is this person who is writing bad comments sitting in USA (atleast his profile says that). As he/she said, please go to suncity, Euphoria, and other surrounding projects before you buy at Gloria.

I too was mis-leaded by this group of residents who looks to be unhappy for some reason with the builder and troubling other prospective buyers so that they can create some problem to the buyer.

I understood the truth when I directly spoke to the owner. He also told that he has given Police complaint against these people who are creating negative propaganda against him on the internet.

Once police starts acting on the complaint, I am sure all these comments will be withdrawn (thats what Mr. Iblur done on one of the complaints)

I request you to go and see the project, to believe it. Before framing your mind by reading the complains online, please go and visit the owners and discuss.

Thank god finally builder hired a person who could at least write english which normal people can understand.

So you are a genuine buyer. Can you publish your company email id here so that we will verify?

Gloria first phase was sold saying it will be ready in 2011. So when are you getting possession?
checked with suncity residents. poor response from them wrt a lot of commitments that builder has promised but not delivered.

whoever is aspiring to buy in suncity gloria, pls check with suncity residents in ibblur junction

1. The builder has cheated the residents of various amenities & facilities (nothing so far for the last five years)
2. No NOC provided to the residents of quite a few blocks. So your property cannot be resold
3. security is a huge issue and maintenance quality is pathetic. security guards change more often than people change clothes. lot of thefts happening
4. No compound wall build and builder has opened the same road promised to suncity to all his projects surrounding the complex thus making the entire suncity complex vulnerable.
5. The worst part is that the builder has started commercial ventures inside the apartments that could severly hamper the overall residential fabric of the entire place. Apart from the necessities like the pharmacy and supermarket, there is a go-ahead for a restaurant also whcih can attract outside public to within the campus.

It is a joke of the century that a real estate builder is proclaiming himself as the "best builder". it shows the arrogance to the core of this people. They are also showing their frustration because none of their customers will every call them trustworthy or recommend them.

Please come to Suncity apartments on Outer ring road and find out the fact yourself. Please beware of the stray dogs when you walk inside this plush layout, thanks to the open boundary and the public roads allowed by the builder inside the property cheating the residents.
Residents, Definately there are many negative things to talk about builder. However there must be some good stuffs to talk as well. Can any one tell at least one good thing, that they like which builder has provided ?

I know, residents are unhappy with the services of builder and they don't want others to suffer. However, the worries are about the people who have already invested money and waiting for apartment to complete by 2012. Those people are getting crazy by reading such comments. They are getting more stressed about what will happen to their hard earned maney??... They can not cancel the deal as well... its all their fate. I hope all the best for them and wish they will get their dream home.

@good luck - if you really care for the money, please sell your apartment at the earliest and invest in some credible builders. You will loose the sleep for the who life if you continue with CLPD.

Even after the construction of the Suncity Apartments, builder and his goons are controlling that place. They have setup a slum in and around Suncity to put up the labourers working for their other projects. These people roam around freely inside the buildings and anybody who question this are threatened by the goons of CLPD. He is running a parallel government in Suncity. They are probably the worst builder in Bangalore for no doubt.

Builder and goons are threatening residents when they brought in a new vegetable vendor, since this is hampering the sale at the supermarket which was monopolizing the business in Suncity. The supermarket itself was illegal in the first place and run by builder's family.

If builder is not ready to understand the pulse of the residents of Suncity, next protest will be in front of Suncity Gloria.

Builder has been telling everyone that Railway line is not an issue. In Bangalore everywhere you can find railway lines. There are only 4 trains that pass through that railway line.

Now is the time for some truths.

1. This railway line goes to Salem.

2. There is a railway station around 250 meters from the project. Usually trains horns just before reaching to station.

3. There is a railway crossing around 25 meters from the project. Usually trains horns just before reaching to station. Especially at night.

4. You can see list of trains stopping at this station here. Apart from this some other trains goes through this line (no stop at this station). If you add Goods trains also, The number of trains through this line is more than 24. That mean a train every hour. That means a honking train at 3:00 am in the morning.

5. Salem is a single line currently. There is a plan to make salem a double line. That means in near future a notification will be issued for acquisition of land for double railway line. What this means for Suncity gloria. All the greenery and baseketball court, tennis court marked on the suncity gloria plan will be demolished and taken over by the railways. You will be left with a building and you apartment.

Hi All -

This is a query to all the people residing within the blocks right next to the railway tracks, especially the apartments that face the tracks - Please suggest a way / best practice, to reduce the noise made by the passing trains, especially, throughout the night.

I stay on the 10th floor, and keep my bedroom windows, and the door closed, however, that barely takes care of the problem.

Please advise, if anyone's been successful in tackling the issue.

Hi All,



Its a problem not only for the flats facing tracks - the noise is so loud, it reverberates through the whole complex. I am not sure why they whistle so much in the nights. Also, one train goes so fast that the whole complex shudders.



No idea how to tackle this issue but some thing we need to investigate on how to solve. This seems like major problem for Shantiniketan complex. With a community as large as this, we should be able to put some pressure on railway authorities to mitigate this, at least in the nights.

Yes, by the day, the noise is getting out of control. Its frustrating to see that especially in the nights, trains keep standing and whistling. I took into the apartment just about 2+ months back on rental basis, and haven't been a able to sleep peacefully even for a single day.

I did check with the Sound proofing person, and he suggesting putting double glass on the sliding windows of the master bedroom, and the bathroom attached. However, that would lock the balcony forever, as the glass would be a permanent fix. Also, the bedroom door would need to have another wood plank attched to it. While that does sound to be the only option, is there any other way that I could have my balcony from getting shut down permanently? On the other note, I do have heavy curtains, which I specially got done at a decent cost to get the noise in control, however, to no use.

On the other suggestion of taking it up with the railway authorities, I think it would be a great try, even if they get convinced of not having the trains to whistle in the night. I am still fine throughout the day, but one does need peaceful sleep in the night. And may be it's psychological, but the nuisance is just increase by every passing night.

As per Railway rules as far as I know the drivers are suppose to honk when approaching or going from stations, approaching railway crossing or in some other areas / circumstances. I dont think they are doing it deliberately but just following the rules as mentioned. If they dont honk if they were supposed to and some accident happens and in an enquiry it is found they did not folow the rules they would loose the job. I am also saying this because my father was in railways earlier and do know that for operations part the railways are bit strict. Anyway there is no harm in requesting the railways if they can stop the honking but then that may require contacting the General Manager of the Railway division
