I had shipped my household things from Singapore to Bangalore in Dec 2009 for 700 kgs (paid S$2000 upfront). It has been more than 2 years now and I have not received one of my items, a DVD recorder. On calling Singapore office at least about a 100 times, they told me that one of their Chennai staff Mr. Zafar will follow up regarding my compensation. I called up Mr. Zafar. He sent an e-mail to Singapore office again regarding this issue. After that, 2 months passed, but no news. I called him again, then he said that his boss Mr. Yusuf Ali would be coming to India in end of Feb 11 and will settle the matter. he told me that I should trust in him. However, no news again until end of Mar 11. I call him again. Now he is telling me that he was only doing me a FAVOUR helping in this matter, but he cannot anymore. Look at his audacity!!! the company has caused me so much inconvenience and now I am being blamed for asking about the status of compensation.
Please let me know the procedure to take this issue to court. I doubt that any of them is bothered to solve it. They don't even have the courtesy to return calls. Was this information helpful? |
