[Resolved]  Tamil Nadu Electricity Board - Chennai — TNEB - Excess amount collection

Dear Sir/Madam,

I reside in Perumbakkam and my service no is 249/448/1845.

My EB bill reading on 12/01/2011 is 230 units. But the amount was wrongly mentioned as Rs 932.
(Actual amount should have been Rs 306.) There was no pending due amount to be paid as well.

I immediately went to Medavakkam EB office to correct the amount and i was informed that since it has been entered in computer this can't be corrected immediately. And this would be adjusted in future.
I submitted letter to Medavakkam EB office and also visited Pallavaram office twice but no action has been taken on this yet.. (I have attached the image with details)
I kindly request you to look into this matter and provide apt solution.

Can the extra amount be changed to advance payment and could be adjusted across future payments. ?
