Hi. This is regarding Communication Ref. No: CPC/0809/I1/[protected].
I have joined New company on Mar 08. Till Feb 07, tax is deducted by my previous company. For one month salary, I have paid tax by self assessment. Though I have paid the whole amount, I have got intimation from IT dept that I will have to pay Rs. 63367/-. When I called the number given in the letter, they have asked me to pay the amount through DD & after correction, if I have paid everything, then they would refund the amount. When I have paid the whole amount, why should I pay complete year's tax once again? Can you please look into this and help? Was this information helpful? |
