[Resolved]  Tata Chroma, LCD 81cm HDR CREL2293 — Pathetic service from Chrome

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to share my experience with Croma Retail at Aundh Pune, I purchased a Chroma 32" LCD TV from their store, which comes with 1 year warranty and I took an extended warranty of 2 years by paying some additional money. My bill number is[protected] and purchase date is 18/9/2010.

In the second year HDMI ports were not working , I raised a complaint (34986) on 10/2/2012, And after repeated followups for 3 months they finally came with a new card PCB ( which is actually defective and a sticker is there on the card saying PICTURE HANG), they said it is a new card and installed it, HDMI ports started working fine. I was very happy at last.

But after two months , my LCD started malfunctioning , picture became blurr&black and lines will come on the LCD screen and not able to hear anything, I again raised the complaint (49255), This time they again came and said the same card(PCB) is faulty and have to replace it, I argued with them why they installed defective card previously as I can see a sticker on it saying PICTURE HANG, he started saying it has been repaired previously and they can’t do anything more than that.

Still after 20 days I am waiting for the chroma people to come back with the repaired card (PCB), Why can’t they install a new card when my LCD is under warranty,

Calls to Croma are very difficult to get through and whenever they lift the call they say they will verify and call back (which by the way they never do).

I had bought the TV from Croma retail because of the TATA brand name, but I guess TATA's have turned out to be just like others.

I lost faith in TATA now , will never ever buy anything from TATA in my life.

I want my defective LCD to be replaced by TATA,
