[Resolved]  TATA Motors / Rama Motors — TATA Dealership Complaints - Harrassment / High handed treatment by TATA Motors Dealer - RAMA Motors - OKHLA / Delhi

Dear Sir,

I Sarvagya Srivastava, a Senior Central Government Officer, working in Indian Oil Corporation, have purchased a Tata Safari, GX, 4 x 2, Pearl White Color, on[protected] from M/s Rama Motors, Okhla, New Delhi in the name of my mother Mrs. Rachna Srivastava. Details of the Subject Vehicle are as below: -

• Engine Number  22045
• Chassis Number  12494
• Name of Registered Owner  Mrs. Rachna Srivastava
• Date of Delivery [protected]
• Vehicle Purchased from  Rama Motors, Okhla, New Delhi
• Rama Motors , Okhla, New Delhi arranged it from  Pawa Motors, New Delhi (Both being authorized dealers of Tata Motors)

Prior to purchase of this vehicle, I was a Maruti Owner and was very happy with the Service provided by the Maruti. Tata being a very well known and reputed brand, I never thought of even for a second that I will be harassed to such an extent that I personally will never suggest any one to go for Tata Vehicle.

Despite, the Vehicle being a very new vehicle, hardly 9 days old, I am facing lots of problems both by the dealer and vehicle. They are as below: -

1. I have sill not been given the Service Coupons, Car Manuals till date by the dealers. Upon contacting Rama Motors, he says that the same will be given by Pawa Motors and upon contacting Pawa Motors, he says that Rama Motors have not transferred the money to him so he will not give me the same whereas Rama Motors has already taken the full amount of money from me before delivering the vehicle to me. I still do not know the functions of my car which I could easily could have known if I had the Manual with me. I don’t have the Service Coupons with me and I don’t know when to go for the first service of my car. Who will be responsible if my car goes wrong due to any thing like skip of first service, etc. ??

2. Similarly Pawa Motors is not giving me the Retail Invoice and Temporary Registration copy both in originals till date even after 9 days of delivery of the vehicle. Currently I don’t have anything with me to prove that I am the owner of the vehicle. Yesterday only a traffic inspector caught me up but I somehow managed it there.

3. My Address is D – 39/11, Faridabad, Haryana – 121006 and I have given the required documents (like the Rent Agreement of the subject house along with the Electricity Bill, etc.) to M/s Rama Motors. Thereby M/s Rama Motors gave me an Insurance Certificate of the car on this address itself but then yesterday itsel[censored]pon fighting too much with these guys I got the scanned copy of the Temporary Registration and the Retail Invoice in my mail from M/s Paawa Motors and the address written in them was not my address. Upon inquiring it from M/s Pawa Motors guy Md. Asif, he said that “ Sir this address was given to us by M/s Rama Motors so we wrote the same and upon inquiring the same with M/s Rama Motors guy Mr. Shavy Saachi, “he said that he gave a Dummy Address to M/s Pawa Motors as he didn’t remembered the address”. Result  The address in the Retail Invoice and the Temporary Registration is a wrong address about which I have never heard off and is not my address. Who will correct it now??

4. As per the retail invoice scanned copy, the Ex – Showroom Price of the Car is written as Rs. 9,93,210/- whereas M/s Rama Motors have taken an amount of 10,00,910/- as Ex – Showroom Price of the car, i.e. a difference of Rs. 7700/-. Upon contacting M/s Pawa Motors about the difference, he said that M/s Rama Motors had taken a price discount from him which he must have didn’t passed on to you. The only proof which says that Rama Motors have charged Rs. 10, 00,910/- is the scheme form given by Rama Motors (Scanned copy of which is attached along with). Please help in getting me back my Rs. 7700/- which was not passed to me then.

5. The Horn Pad of my Car was broken from inside at the time of delivery of the car itself and everybody at Rama Motors knows about it and they have said that we don’t have the part right now but the same will be replaced free of cost at your house premises itself very soon. But till date it has not been done and I am managing with a broken one.

6. Sound is coming from under the vehicle from the front side right from day 1.

Sarcastically if these are the conditions when the vehicle is just 9 days old and these are the way the dealers are treating me, the kind of service I am being given by them, then sorry to say but I have made a blunder mistake by choosing a Tata vehicle…

Concerned Authorities are very kindly requested to take necessary actions so as to resolve my issues as mentioned above.
