TDI KUNDALI LIFT CUM DEATH TRA

I wish to draw your kind attention toward the Lift installed at your housing project Kingburry at G2 Blok. I have been allotted a Flat on 9th floor of this unit and when I with my family member boarded the lift, the lifts failed in transit and we have trapped in darkness, after moving from Ground floor. We think that lift failures is due to Power failure and the same will be resume by power back up. After ten minutes the Electric power was on to remove only darkness but lift does not start.
We have cried for help trapped in lift . No emergency alarm or phone was working in the lift. Even Mobile phones were not working in the trapped lift.
We have watched in horror for about 25-30 minutes and stand there with out any help . We have tried to phone , tried to raise a alarm, knocking the door of lift but safety measure was installed in the lift. We have faced the threat of life in this moments and could not explain in the words
Finally after passing about 35 minutes in horror the lift starts moving down and we left the lift in high shock.
We found at ground floor the operator of lift sit besides the building and he is well aware that lift is faulty. We have contacted some other incharge of lift name Mohan , he is also admit that lift is faulty and advise us to report the higher authorities which he does not know who is higher authority.
Generally companies s opting for a legal lift will ensure that lifts are incorporated with each electrical safety. Unbranded lifts make use of low quality material and henceforth are not safe. It is clear violation of Lifts Acts and Rules, 1974.
You should replace the lift immediately if the lift is causing you any problem to avoid further damage A Lift comprises of several items to help increase safety. An emergency alarm switch will sound an alarm when activated by a passenger. An emergency telephone or intercom can serve as a link to assistance if the car should stall. And, in the event of a power failure, emergency lighting maintains illumination for hours.
After all we advise you to take stern action against the responsible person to avoid any life damage of the uers of the lift and recruit trained lift operator.
