Sir,
With reference to the captioned subject,I beg to submit the following few lines for favour of your kind consideration and necessary action:
1) That I am the proprietor of “OMM COMMUNICATION” at Raj Hotel Chhowk,Angul and dealing with the sale,repairing of mobiles sets as well as the sale of recharge vouchers,easy recharge and other apparatus relating to mobile sets.
2) That my unit as aforesaid was running smoothly having brisk business and as such I had taken a cash-credit loan of Rs.4500000/ from the Bank of India,Angul Branch.
3) That the Bank of India in order to secure the money advanced to me had insured my unit with the Oriental Insurance Company Ltd. Angul the policy number stated above.
4) That in the month of February 2009 that is on 28.02.2009 there was a fire accident in my unit at the odd hour of night while I was away at my home and all belongings inside the shop gutted to fire as a result of which all mobile sets,other apparatus including all papers relating to my business were destroyed and at present I am not in possession of any such document receipts relating to the purchase and sale sets all other documents pertaing to the business.
5)That soon after the fire accident ,I lodged F.I.R. at Angul Police Station and had obtained a fire certificate from the Fire Officer who had deployed firemen to extinguish the fire from the shop.
6)That Ihad also intimated about the fire accident tomy Banker Bank of India with a request to submit the claim form with the Oriental Insurance Co. Ltd. Angul.
7)That besides the above I had personally submitted a claim form with the Oriental Insurance Co. Ltd.Angul with a copy to the Bank of India wherein I have put forth a claim of Rs.16,91,489.18/.
8)That the aforesaid claim form was submitted on 16.06.2009 wherein the destroyed and damaged properties have been mentioned as new hand sets worth Rs.14,93,489.18/,computer and tools worth Rs.98000/,shop show and electric fitting worth Rs.100,000/.
9)That in support of my claim I have also submitted the Station Diary Entry of Angul Police Station,The fire certificate issused by the Fire Officer Angul,The copy of information submitted to Bank of India,Angul,The stock report submitted to Bank of India,Angul Branch dated 18.12..2008,The stock report dated 3.2.2009 submitted to the B.M.Bank of India Angul Branch,The claim form along with a report on damage of property,The balance sheet dated 31.03.2008 and the salestax report.
10) That in spite of submission of claim form and the documents the Oriental Insurance Company remained silent and did not take steps for the settlement of my claim as a result of which Iwrote to the B.M.Bank of India Angul time and again to press the early settlement of the claim but invain.
11) That I am a Youngman and was hopeful of getting myself established by doing the aforesaid business but to my ill-luck the aforesaid fire accident stood as a barrier in my prospect and it is quite pathetic that my banker has kept quiet without extending its helping hand for the settlement of my genuine claim.
12) That I have been running all these days pillars to post to get the claim settled but I am being harassed constantly by the Bank authority as well as the Insurance Company for which I am constrained to file this objection before your excellency to intervene in the matter and the final settlement of my claim as early as possible within15 days from the date of receipt of my application.
Therefore, I request you to be good and kind enough to take necessary steps for the early settlement of my claim to enable me to run my business and to liquidate the loan which I have taken from your Bank.
