I've no clue how old these posts and comments are (all of them being valid and true ones), but, as of today i.e. 14th August 2013, I want to bring to everyone's notice a major flaw by TEN SPORTS.
I'm a former athlete and was very much excited for the much anticipated event of the year, the ongoing IAAF WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS held in MOSCOW which started on the 10th of August 2013, the advertisements of which were being aired on TEN SPORTS (since it is the official broadcaster of the event in India) ever since the India, Sri Lanka, West Indies tri series started in June-July 2013 followed by the India-Zimbabwe Series in July-August 2013.
But on the day of the event, after I checked online for the schedule of Ten Sports for the day, and switched on the TV, with utmost anticipation of the prestigious event, all I was left to see was some bullcrap Twenty Twenty League in Sri Lanka. (?!?!). I thought I should wait for some time. But in vain. That whole day I did not see a glimpse of the event on this channel. Neither was there a marquee text on the screen telling the inconvenience/reason of not showing the event nor there was any advertisement of the event. And it is not that the broadcast rights are shifted to some other channel or so (having checked all other channels). And till date i.e. after 4 days since the event started, there has not been any sign of the event which has Indian participants, Indian hopes and International stars like Usain Bolt.
And this is not the only complaint that I've against TEN SPORTS, there are several, including that for a show being aired in July-August 2013 hosted by Ramiz Raja showing India-Pakistan cricket matches which PAKISTAN WON. Who the hell in India wants to see these matches ?!?!?! It's not about not being sporty, but these matches were least interesting.
Another ridiculous thing was the dismal performance of the channel during the cricket series which concluded in West Indies and Zimbabwe which I spoke about a while ago when instead of showing the repeat telecast or highlights (because of the time difference between the countries) of the concluded match these would show some bullcrap matches.
It is a sincere request to everyone to please take a note of this and make sure that you spread the word. After all we pay for these channels, we pay for watching our favourite shows.
I've attached screenshots from some websites which shows that the telecast of IAAF WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS held in MOSCOW is on Ten Sports and no other channel.

Ten sports — Worst live cricket telecast i had ever seen(Ind-sa series)
Hi,I'd like to raise a serious complaint against the broadcast standard of programmes being aired on Ten Sports and affiliated channels. During the recent broadcast of the India-South Africa series there have been several instances where:
1. The telecast has been blocked by advertisement projections superimposed on the field of play.
2. Live broadcast is interrupted by unnecessary advertisements while play is live.
3. While live broadcast, advertisements are displayed by reducing the screen broadcast size while there is live action happening.
I'm sure these frustrations are shared by several other consumers of these channels and seriously undermine our rights as consumers. Given that these channels are paid this is serious abuse of our rights as viewers. If possible, can the Ten Sports network be taken to task for these irregularities.
