[Resolved]  tenants rights — Housing society rules against tenants

I am a tenant in a Apartments, which is having 30 Houses. I am residing in this building since two years. In Apartments there is no specified car parking area and all are used to park their carks in common parking area. Now the owners who are living in the building become syndicate and made a rule that the tenants should not allow to park their cars inside the compound. My house owner committed that i can park the car in common parking area, when I was taken their house for rent. Still he is binding his words, but housing society forcing him to accept this rule. If this case, i don't have any other option other than vocating the house, which cost me more than Rs.25, 000/-. How I can proceed further??? pls guide me

Hi – I have rented a flat in Mumbai around 3-4 months back for me and my family as I was getting married. I got married and shifted to this flat. Now I need to get a marriage certificate from the court wherein I require a letter from this housing society stating that I live here in the said flat with my wife. But the society has denied it saying that they only issue it to the owners and not to the tenants.
I already have an agreement with the owner for 11 months and that contains police verification as well. Also, I was first told that I need to get a confirmation from my landlord and then I will be issued the letter and Hence I got a confirmation mail from my landlord also, but the society has denied issuing the letter.

Please advise if I can get this letter as its very important for me to get this letter and get my marriage certificate based on that.
Tenants are the worst sufferers. I rented a flat in parkxpress at J block. While leaving the owner was not willing to refund my money. There is lot of dust around and sound of porklain for ongoing construction is immense. Maintenance is too high and tenants has no say inspite of the fact that actually maintenance is paid by tenants only...
Hi,

i had gone to see a flat in Tingre nagar through a ad posted on Magic bricks through a broker.
I liked the flat, i was asked for a token amount of Rs 5000/-
2 days later at 8pm i gave the token amount of Rs 5000/- then i was asked to pay the rent of 14000 in advance which i did by giving an additional amount of Rs 9000/-.
the next morning i called the broker to hold the deal, now the flat owner to whom i paid 14000 is refusing to return my money.
he says that the broker & he will share the amount as i have cancelled the deal.
kindly advice in this case, as no agreement was signed.
I am Tenant in 1BHK for from 1 year in Pune, First 11 months we made agreement and after agreement we continued agreement for 1 more year, However, because of i got job in some other Location, I informed to my owner in Whats app and in call about my vacation of flat, He was good until that time, Before i vacate he came to house and checked painting conditions and all., For the small marks he said entire walls to be re painted and all he send one painter and he said to i have to bear the expenses, I searched another painter in economic way but Owner did not agreed, I have given money for painting and other things.

Now, Because of Just after agreement, with in 2 months i am vacating, he is cutting 1500/- for Registration fee whatever he spent at the time of registration, Even i spent 1500/- my pocket during registration. Why i have to bear his? Total Registration fee 3000/- we spent together

Please suggest for me how to proceed
Excellent. Are there newer court rulings on such matters ?
Are these complaints resolved if we submit here? We stay in Magarpatta. At the time of lease renewal, we are being forced to pay brokerage again. Owner is also with the broker as he takes care of his multiple properties. What are we suppose to do? We are being forced to move out if we do not pay the brokerage. This was not metioned to us earlier nor written anywhere that we would have to pay it every year.
What are the society maintenance charges apply to rented tenant in Mumbai region?
Because we are paying municipal taxes, water charges, common electrical charges, non occupancy charges, additional maintenance charges, sinking fund, major repair fund and professional fees.

Kindly clarify and guide to me on my email id: arjayant.[protected]@gmail.com
I stay in moshi pradhikaran, sec no 6, the ladies from our society doesn't allow us to participate in any society functions or activities as these ladies husbands work as chairman of the society.. They keep on abusing and keep on saying that don't have any right to speak regarding to any of the activities as you are tenants.. They always keep us saying that you are tenants
Hi,

I am a tenant in a small Apt. in Hyd. My owner has 5 2BHK's out of a total of 10.
Our situation is a bit strange . The current owners have formed a syndicate and put up their own Sintex water tanks(1000 Litres each) . They fill their water tanks first and release water after that .
We do not get sufficient water and the scarcity is more during Summer. (we get 100-150 Litres at a max per day)
We asked our owner umpteen times to solve the problem by setting up a sintex tank for us as well.
But he does not oblige us. He is a bit frightened by the other owners.
Don't we have rights of equality on water. When we are paying money we should have right for our share of water.
How can we solve our problem.

Regards,
Srinivas.
