[Resolved]  Trees — ILLEGAL CUTTING OF TREES

Sir/madam,
I have gone through almost all the complaints and reply pertaining those complaints whereby Panchayat is illegally cutting the trees which is established in the panchayat land. Being lawyer i want to bring into your knowledge that before cutting the trees Panchayat shall have conduct an auction and forest department will suggest the price for the auction so therefore if Panchayat is selling the trees without consultation of the forest department you can prosecute the Panchayat for its illegal and arbitrary action.

Dear Sir,

I am resident of MIRA ROAD – THANE -MAHARASHTRA
I have one complaint about Cutting down of Old tress which are Planted on the Sidelines of Our Roads, Colonies, and Other Resident area
Inside the City. MIRA BHAYANDER CORPORATION is receiving Tree Tax every year in PROPERTY TAX BILL
Please help us without any major reason MBMC cut down 8 to 10 tress within 2 days at EVERSHINE ENCLAVE ROAD
These Trees are Very old they are refreshing air and reducing the harmful effects of Pollution created by Vehicles.
How many year is passed to Grow One tree & these Money minded people cut trees without any hesitation.
On other side MBMC put banners for GREEN MUMBAI

You are requested please look in to the matter urgently otherwise these people cut more trees for their personal benefit.

I don't know to whom am I complaining...

Three years back, a news paper report said that, Baroda is a 'green city' - IT HAS ONE TREE PER PERSON (Population of Baroda was approximately 18 lakhs and we had similar number of trees in Baroda district )

But in last three years, on the name of development (new fly-overs, widened roads and new buildings) so many trees have been chopped off that, i am sure the 'one-tree-per-person, ratio would have been grossly skewed.

Many of the individuals feel for these trees... but there is no collective effort to stop this senseless activity...

I suggest, from now on, all those who want to oppose this activity of chopping off the trees (for any damn reason) should wear green colour clothes on every Monday. This would be our attempt to replace the greenery...

Kindly pass on this message to as many as possible and make your city green!

GREEN BANYAN TREE CUTTING
A very good big green banyan tree is being cut to make space for the illegal "Kanak hotel"
At Khambalpada Naka, opp Mega Maruti Service Station, Dombivli E.
Complaint to KDMC is of no use.
There is no local tree protection society nearby. Pl see attached snaps.

sir please take action against people who have brought down a huge tree (JAMON TREE) only for the sake of showing their building to others. adress near VCARE HOSPITAL, DEVEGOWDA ROAD, R.T NAGAR POST. METADAHALLI. no action has been taken or complaint lodge by residents.

Recently one tree has been cut in the compound of Alpine Appts Chembur 74, Mumbai.
Being concerned towards protection of environment, the respective authorities are requested to look into the matter

I Mr. Deepak Bharat Shelar residing at andheri east from last 37 yrs. my complain is about illegal cutting of trees .The place where i live in andheri east Gundavali,Mogra Village, plot no 153. there was so many trees this place was under construct by one of developer who has not taken any permission from BMC for cutting trees.This developer has already cut 11 tree without BMC permission which was in good condition.

Even today some man of developers came to cut another tree and this tree is about 40 years old and with good condition with fruit on its.I asked him why they are cutting tree without permission so one of his man Mr Mahesh told me that they have taken permission from BMC,so i asked him please show me the permission copy so he refused why should i show you and his labour has started cutting the tree.So atlast i and one of my friend Mrs.Sugra called Police help line no 100.So police come at 5:45pm from Bit Marshal One Named is Mr.Sachin Maruti Jadhav[protected] and her complaint no was W00307915 and even she has longed complaint to Andheri Police Station.After police came there they stopped there work and runaway.
Sir please my question is that ask them so why they runaway that means they cut the tree illegally way so please look this matter and also i noticed some point 1)Is they have permission to cut the good conditions tree.2)Is this right proses to cut the tree from the base without cutting branches 3)As they know there are three house exactly below the tree who will take the responsibility of them. 4)Before cutting the tree BMC people has not survey this place were tree belongs and not even asked any people residing over there.

So sir i request you to please check reallity that they have permission to cut the tree if not please take the legal action again the developer.

I am resident of Infocity, Gandhinagar - 382007, Gujarat. By grace of God we had very good numbers of trees in our campus, but since last one year the local staff maintaining the gardens are chopping trees now and then. Today also they chopped many trees. I am a nature lover and can't bear cutting of trees without any cause. Please give me solution or help reach the right authorities.

Some unknown people are coming and cutting the tress in my area i.e. bldg. no. 5/room no 91 New BPT Colony, Nadkarni Park, Wadala(east),
The big trees which are from 50-60 trees are being cut which cover the whole road with shadow

I request the consumer complaint forum to stop all these activities as the cutting of trees brings in the sun light directly on the road which will be unbearable in the summer.

i am reena from Kerala. I have a complaint against my neighbour. They had a tamarind tree nearby our well (which is a only source of water to us) shedding all its leaves into it. Our water become impure and the leaves of tree get into our pipe connection and the connection was blocked. In this situation, we asked our neighbour to cut down the tree. But they didn't. We made a complaint to village office, panchayat and health department. At last, they cut down only half of the tree after so many issues including involvement of panchayat member. Now they are demanding the cutting of our coconut tree which makes no disturbance for them. They are demanding this only for a tic for a tac. We have only one coconut tree in our 5 cents. How can we solve the problem and where to complaint about this?

At the back side of my house (19, Ksindra Co-Op.Hos. Soc. Ltd, Devbhuminagar-I, Near Parimal School, D-Cabin, Sabarmati, Ahmedabad-380019) in common plot, there was a tree of BILVA. Some days before, society's some members want to cut the tree. But, I have agitated and gave an objection application to Society's secretary, on the name of Chairman/Secretary on date -15.03.2013.
Yesterday( on dt- 20.03.2013, Afternoon to 21.03.2013, 13.00 Hrs.) I was out of station, taking the benefit of this time some mischievous had cut down the tree, making "pone to some youngsters/ teenagers"(i.e keeping teenagers in to front), so, I can not raise the objection. This is a deed of those veteran players who plays volley ball in the common plot, after 09.00 PM. in every night. Due to which surrounding living senior citizens are harassed and cant take rest at night.
This is not a good thing and they should teach the lesson, for not to cut the tree.

You've wrote a lot of comments regarding the tree cutting, but tell me one thing very truly if you've solved anyone of your problems while writing your complaint on this section of internet. I want to say that this type of matter can not be solved white typing only. If you really want to take the action to save the trees the fight like me. I'm alone regularly sending the culprits back who want to cut the trees in front of my house. Now I'm searching the legal way to prevent the cutting of Safed Mudar tree.

I am resident of sidhi, M.P. Hear in south karoundia area there is very big and old Pipal tree is there but few people are cutting it without the legal permission . They have already started but tree is nod yet dead .
Kindly do something to protect it.
