This complaint is regarding the trees that are planted along the roads in colonies e.g. Sector-15, Rohini. It has been observed that while constructing concrete footpath, no "KUTCHA" area has been left around the trees. This leaves no space for the Tree trucks to expand further. Moreover, this also restricts the water supply to the tree e.g. during rainy season.
The same is the case with other sectors as well like Sector 13, 14 and may be more.
As per my knowledge, there are some presecribed specfications under "Tree Preservation Act 1994" to leave a particular KUTCHA area around every tree.
I want to request the relevant authorities to take ncessary action regarding the same. Was this information helpful? |
