With due respect, I would like to say that, i had purchased Scooty Pep+ Red on 08/02/2010, Frame No: MD626BG33A2A07559, Engine No: 0G3AA202584, Mumbai Registration No. M-6601 from Haran TVS Lamington Road Mumbai and carried out my first free service on 11/3/2010 from Haran Autos pvt. Ltd, Mumbai 400007. On first service they have changed the engine oil and charged for the same saying that it is compulsary. For second free service the date was given as 11/5/2010 but due to some unavoidable circumstances, I could not turned up and when i had approached for the second free service on 08/06/2010 it was told by haran Auto pvt. Ltd. that your second free service will not be carried out in a very rough manner without any courtsy giving the reference of the free service coupan "This coupan is valid i[censored]sed (a) betveen[protected] km or (b) 3 months from the date of purchase, whichever of the two occurs earlier".
My complaint to the TVS is that, why they had imposed such type of anti consumer restrictions? Simply 03 to 04 free servises has to be provided on the basis of km earnings with in one year or atleast some flexibility is required.Secondly, changing of engine oil in every service is not at all needed because the coupan itself certifies that approx. upto the running of 2000 to 2500 km the engine oil works. That means the service centers are forcefully changing the engine oil for the purpose of making money and in return spoiling the raputation of the TVS.
As such, I hereby request you to kindly look into the matter and instruct Haran Autos Pvt. Ltd. Mumbai 400007, Phone:[protected], 23053205, Fax:[protected] to provide the second free service on 17/6/2010 the date given by them and may also bring the case into the knowledge of TVS authorities.
