[Resolved]  TVS Scooty Streak — Problem With my New TVS Streak

Dear Sir/Madam,
I purchased a brand new TVS Streak from the TVS authorized dealer “Prabha TVS – Chennai” on 11/11/2011. (FYI, The invoice number is 2328)
I paid the full amount and rest of the registration process is completed smoothly with the dealer.
But later when want use the bike its giving a lot of troubles for me.

On 19/11/2011, (The bike reading is just 20 Kms),when I want to use the bike the self-start and head-light and other electrical related ones are not in working condition.
So I rush to the dealer on the same day and explained the issue.

First the service engineer said there is a problem with the battery, so he took some time and said its ready.
In front of him when I tried again, the same problem persists.
So again he took some more time, and now he said there is a problem with the fuse and replaced that.
Again I tried, still the problem persists.
So he is said I need to check the completely and need some considerable amount of time. I agreed with that and left the bike in service station.

Later he called me, and update that a mouse cut one of the electrical wire and it should be replaced that is chargeable.
I just shocked with this, since in my house premises there are four bikes we’ll park and this is the first time that a mouse just went inside a vehicle and cut the wiring.
I am just confused with this “how a mouse will go inside a bike and cut the wire which is near to head light?”

I even said OK for this to replace the part and deliver the bike on time.
For this they took two working days to do this and delivered the bike on 21/11/2011, saying now everything is PERFECT.

Later when again tried to use the bike on 24/11/2011, now some more new problems are there.
The DIP & DIM light is not working and side stand beep horn is in not working condition.
I again taken the bike to service station and explained the issue.
Now they just replaced the headlight bulb and asking some more time to fix the beep issue.

I just fed up with all these issues.
There should a vey huge problem with bike electrical wiring and it is not properly tested before delivery.
Or the service is not good enough.

I need a permanent solution for the issue as I requested you to do through checking for free of cost.

Please let me know any other information is needed from my side.

Note: The current bike reading is just 70 Kms, Within this almost 40 Kms I spent for taking the bike to service station.
