[Resolved]  tvs showroom — agony to customers

Address:Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh

This is about the tvs showroom cum service center in kondapur ,hyderabad . my scooty pep was not starting so i got it checked by a mechanic who said that there is a wiring problem so wiring needs to be replaced. he said only tvs service centers will have wiring so i gave it to tvs kondapur service center .
After checking my bike , the people there said it is some starting coil problem . he also said to replace something called battery regulator which will give the battery a longer life. i asked him whether bike will start if it is not replaced. he said yes but u will have to replace battery in a year or so . i asked him only to replace starting coil since that was basic problem, so they replaced starting coil ,charged me 450 and gave the scooter back to me on monday evening . Tuesday morning after driving it for 5 km it stopped on the road. after great difficulty , i managed to take it back to same showroom where they said they will give it after 3 days.
again they checked , this time replaced battery regulator ,charged 650 and gave it back in 3 days . i asked him that just yesterday u told me bike would work if regulator is not replaced ,then how today u replaced that part . he said "electronics ka koi barosa nahi"
again in 2 days it stopped working. this time thankfully in front of the showroom .
he said he will check and give the bike next day .. i asked him to throughly check it. he kept it with him for a month , making me run around him like mad each time saying 2 days more .. ultimately replaced wiring when i took a bunch of people and yelled at him . charged me 2600 with 600 service charge .. when i asked him the first mechanic in the beginning said wiring problem y u didnt realise being a tvs mecahnic , standard answer was "ye electronics hai . it can get spoiled anytime " . n still they refuse to give me assurance that it wont face same problem again . for everything they say "2005 model hai .. parts are outdated so we will replace with latest model " .. does that mean 2005 bikes are no longer fit to be driven on the road ? 2005 models dont work or what .
My question is being a tvs service center ,they didnt know it was a wiring problem when a normal road side mechanic could figure that out in 15 mins . Maybe they knew the problem but wanted to take more money by replacing more parts which never even had a problem . and although it was their fault that they didnt check the problem in the starting ,still they took service charge of 600 the third time and gave reason that it was with us for a month. it was their fault that they kept it with them for a month ,still they charged me . and when i said i will test drive for 2 days and then pay , they refused and said heavy dialogues like trust etc etc .
i have got my bike back but still the new wiring they put does not seem effective enough. Even after expermenting so much with my bike , my bike still gives a burning smell after driving around 8 km . that too right from day1 of returning the bike .
All i can say is they are looting people and causing them trouble . they are not fit to be "authorised service centers" because people trust service centers more than mechanics. If they only are behaving like this , what are customers supposed to do ?
