[Resolved]  United Health Insurance — Poor Customer Service

Hi,

This is to inform you all that this company UHC has very poor cusomter service:

I got operated on 26th Jun 2008 & yet to recieve my cahsless amount.

Pointers for the Claim:
• I have been following for my med claim for the past three months. However till date the med claim has not been refunded. (Cashless)
• I always get different response each time when I receive mails from UHC or when I call them.
• It was a cashless facility which I availed however due to delayed response from UHC we had to pay the cash at the last moment.
• Since we have paid the cash, hospital promised us to refund the amount once they get the refund from UHC.

Pointers for the Cashless Facility:
• After submitting the preauthorization form to UHC, they took 7 days to send the Cashless approval to hospital.
• Before sending the approval, UHC has requested at least 20 different reports and at last when my sister scanned & mailed them the reports which was available, they faxed the approval immediately.
• At CMC-Vellore, accounts department, admin, Doctors room are in different building and each time when they have requested the details, my parents were running to different departments to get the reports requested by UHC. However the approval was not sent at the right time and also they have questioned my parents about the terminology mentioned in my medical report. Since they were educated they were able to handle the situation. However I would like to bring this to your notice, so that this is not repeated and might happen with anyone.

Can anyone help me...
I just have lost patience & want to sue this company.
