At the outset, let me introduce myself, my name is ZARRAR AZIZ and my permanent address in India is No 4-48/2, G.K Mohalla, Near Mosque, CHAMARAJANAGAR - 571 313. KARNATAKA.
This is in reference to the RAJALAKSHMI UNIT PLAN (II) wherein I have applied for 5000 units ON 04.04.2000 in favour of my minor female child by name AALIYA BANU (date of birth 21.04.1999). The total amount of RS 50, 000 was paid by means of two bank drafts vide bank draft No 659873 and 659874 dated 04.04.2000 drawn on Indian Overseas Bank, Chennai, in favour o[censored]nit Trust of India Account RUP (II) .
The duly filled in application form for RAJLAKSHMI UNIT PLAN (II) along with the above bank drafts was submitted on 04.04.2000 in UNIT TRUST OF INDIA FRANCHISE OFFICE C C Code: S 027, 442/10, D. Subbaiah Road, MYSORE - 570 004 - KARNATAKA.
The officials there in Franchise Office, Mysore told that UTI will send 5000 bonds/units to my (above) given address but sorry to say until now nothing being received. Whenever I visited India I myself visited UTI office at present in Saraswathipuram on a regular basis but in vain. No one bothered to explain what is the status of my investment and where is the blocking point.
The present status is:
1- Neither I received any bond or units for the above amount,
2- Not know what is my membership number,
3- No correspondence in this receord being received.
Could someone please advise me what to do and to whom to contact? How to get refund ?
