My father lost his money in the exact same way. After the whole winding up of the farm(which incidentally came to our knowledge only after repeated calls to VGP) they kept fobbing us off for the money. Then the option was given to add some more capital to the existing money with the company and buy plots, which they offered in Hosur. How can anyone continue to have faith in the company when they didn't even have the courtsey to keep their investors informed about the operation going 'kaput'?? They have no answer to this and needless to say, my father still continues to hold out hope of getting his monay back. The only regret is that by the time we were galvanised into action, the the whole thing had become time-barred. I wish some person with a bit of legal knowledge would guide the investors who lost money.
