I am an entrepreneur running a small boutique in Bangalore. I didn’t formally study fashion design, but learnt through a series of certificate programs and workshops. When I wanted to add custom-designed jewelry to my collection, I decided to take up a certificate program in jewelry design. Through one of my customers, I found that Vogue Institute of Fashion Technology offered corporate course programs for color stone identification, navarathna, polished diamond grading, gems and jewelry marketing, I decided to apply for all the programs one by one. The certification has not only given me confidence, but also in my customers.
