I had purchased a flat from West Bengal Housing Board in 2004 and had made payment of Rs 50,000 /- for purchase of garage space in Dec 2004 but till date the same has not been registered by the board and they do not reply to any of my letters. I have made several requests for refund of the money but they do not answer to any questions. The property I purchased is in Plot-11 Sarsuna project of the board. This is a live example of how an elected government can cheat the public.For further queries I may be contacted on [protected].

Exactly same case happened with me.I also purchased a flat from W.B.H.B &took possession of the same in February 2005 in Plot no11 shakuntala park.W.B.H.B issued a circular in 2003 seeking application from the allottees for purchase of Garage with application money of Rs5000/ I applied accordingly.But at the time of taking possesion of my flat, they compelled me to deposit balance cost of Garage(Rs45000) in addition to a sum of Rs105000/for delay in payment as per allotment order although the full payment was made by me long before the date of possession.
Till now they have not allotted me Garage nor replied to any of my letter for refund of cost of Garage with interest.Recently I made an application under RTI to which they replied vide letter dt.28.6.12 that deposited amount in r/o the applicant not allotted with Garage will be refunded.BUT WHEN I DONT KNOW.
Please guide me in this regard.
